Time is the bane of all kings. Always does it march forward, bringing change and challenges, wars and disasters, invaders and internal rebellion. This supplement for Oathmark: Battles of the Lost Age, focuses on the passage of time and its effect on a players kingdom. While wars and battle still determine their ultimate fate, many other events can affect the armies of a kingdom. Plagues and blights can reduce access to soldiers from specific territories. Attempted coups can cost a king some of his best generals. On the other hand, unexpected alliances might give a kingdom access to unusual troops, or the birth of a new heir might bring wondrous presents. Along with the rules for the passing of years, this book also presents the option to train your units to fight in special formations, such as phalanxes, shield walls, and skirmish lines. These will allow players to use their existing armies to try out new strategies and tactics to swing their battle in their favour. This book also includes several new military expeditions, including numerous scenarios, to once again challenge a player's generalship. |
Empires have fallen, and the land is broken. The great oathmarks that once stood as testaments to the allegiances and might of nations have crumbled into ruin. In this lost age, fealty and loyalty are as valuable as gold and as deadly as cold iron, and war is ever-present. Created by Joseph A. McCullough, designer of Frostgrave and Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago, Oathmark is a mass-battle fantasy wargame that puts you in command of the fantasy army you've always wanted, whether a company of stalwart dwarves or a mixed force with proud elves, noble men, and wild goblins standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the battle-line. Fight through an integrated campaign system and develop your realms from battle to battle, adding new territories, recruiting new troop types, and growing to eclipse your rivals… or lose what you fought so hard to gain and fall as so many would-be emperors before you. Hardback book. |
A supplement for Oathmark: Battles of the Lost Age, giving players rules for creating elite units of warriors known as battlesworn and charting their progress from battle-to-battle. In the horror and chaos of battle, the outcome can often hang on the briefest of moments. It is at these times that the actions of one unit can make the difference between victory and defeat. Wise kings know this, and realize that it is often prudent to hold their best units back until they can make the greatest difference. These elite units, called the ‘battlesworn', are more than just powerful combatants, they are symbols of the glory and honour of a kingdom. All young warriors hope to one-day join their ranks and add their oathmarks beside those legendary fighters. This supplement for Oathmark: Battles of the Lost Age, contains rules for adding elite units to your armies and charting the progress of those units from battle-to-battle. Will they grow even more powerful as they gain renown, or will they die to the last man in heroic defence, perhaps someday to rise again in time of the kingdom's greatest need? Also included is a campaign, featuring all-new scenarios, that will give your battlesworn the chance to lead their kingdom to new heights of power and prestige. |
Dark necromancers have laid claim to forsaken kingdoms and summoned forth the souls of those who defiled their oathmarks. The dead, once again, march to war. As armies of wraiths and skeletal warriors bring destruction to their lands, the small kingdoms of the Marches also turn to the spirits of the dead. Gathering the most ancient and powerful of oathmarks, they recall the spectral forms of those that died in loyal battle to once again come forth in defence of their kingdoms. With these ethereal warriors joining their ranks, the kings of the Marches may yet stand. This supplement for Oathmark: Battles of the Lost Age introduces the forces of the dead to the game. Some armies will use dark magic to summon the souls and corpses of traitors from the past, while others will recall the spirits of loyal warriors that gave their lives and willingly fight again. This book also includes expanded rules for characters, which allow you to chart their progress from battle-to-battle, and watch as they grow in rank, responsibility, and power. All of these rules are then incorporated into a campaign featuring new scenarios that together tell of an epic war for survival. |
Aleksandra Zerkova Khador Warmachine has, through a combination of fearsome reputation, ruthless tactics, and intimate knowledge of the occult, scaled the ranks of the Greylords Covenant. Her open display of mystical power, from forbidden relics to guardians enslaved to her will, has earned her many enemies—but none capable of standing in her way. She is as skilled at espionage as the dark arts, and more than a few of her detractors have disappeared without a trace, while those once vocal about her wrongdoing have grown strangely quiet. Two armies prepare for war. Thor, surrounded by crackling lightning, leads the assault of a horde of Viking berserkers. Preparing to receive this charge stands a wall of grim-faced, determined Spartan hoplites, commanded by Ares himself… Of Gods and Mortals is a skirmish wargame that gives players the opportunity to command the greatest heroes, warriors and monsters of legend - and the gods and goddesses that ruled over them. Whether you want to lead the forces of Greek, Egyptian, Celtic or Norse mythology to battle, or build your own pantheon, Of Gods and Mortals presents everything you need. Each player takes control of a god, a handful of legendary characters and a number of mortal troops, forming a warband that must work in harmony to succeed. Although the gods are incredibly powerful, they are only as strong as the faith of the mortals who follow them - if their worshippers are cut down, gods become weaker, and if a deity is vanquished in combat, its followers may flee the field of battle. Success lies in employing a strategy that uses all your troops, from the mightiest to the most humble, as effectively as possible. |
Warhammer 40,000: The Astra Militarum, are commonly known as the Imperial Guard. This kit makes one plastic Officio Prefectus Commissar who can be equipped with either a bolt pistol or plasma pistol at the end of his bionic right arm and while his left hand wields a power sword. Crafted from the melted-down weapons of defeated enemies and blessed with the strange, hungry essence of the Gulping God, the Great Mawpot is a Mawtribe's most sacred possession. All manner of gruesome ingredients are thrown into this metal cauldron and boiled up into a thick magical broth that reinvigorates any ogors who taste it. This piece of terrain brings a number of benefits to an Ogor army. Any enemy models slain nearby can be thrown into the pot and cooked into a restorative broth that heals Mawtribe units. It's also a vessel of the Gulping God, helping your nearby Wizards when they cast or attempt to unbind spells. This 23-piece plastic kit makes one Great Mawpot. |
Ironguts go into battle armed with massive two-handed weapons, be they enourmous scimitars, rocks bolted to tree boughs with iron bands, or simply gigantic versions of the traditional ogor club. They are armed with the best weapons, equipment and armour. This armour is sometimes made specifically for that Irongut, though most of the time it is simply made up of looted shields and chunks of armour from their fallen foes. This multi-part plastic set contains 110 components with which to build four Ironguts armed with mighty bashing weapons. The set comes with plenty of optional extras including armoured heads, and plenty of scavenged shields to protect them. It also includes enough components to build a Gutlord, a Rune Maw Bearer and a Bellower. These models are supplied with four 40mm square bases and they are supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints. |
Leadbelchers are generally regarded as unhinged by most other Ogors, but also highly entertaining. They are obsessed with destruction and noise, and arm themselves with great portable Leadbelcher guns. Before battle, Leadbelchers fill their gun's barrel with crude black powder, metal shot, rusty nails, an assortment of wickedly bladed weapons and even the occasional cannon ball. Suffice to say, their approach to warfare is unsubtle, though entirely effective. If a volley of fast-moving, sharp missiles doesn't kill their foe, then a quick beating with their guns should finish the job. This multi-part plastic set contains 107 components with which to build four Leadbelchers armed with Leadbelcher guns. The set comes with plenty of optional extras including powder Grots and plenty of spiky ammunition to ram into the cannons. These models are supplied with four 40mm square bases and they are supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints. |
The core of a Beastclaw Raiders Alfrostun, Ogors mounted on Mournfangs are always at the vanguard of a raid’s assault. Wielding clubs, blades and pistols, they’re very, very good at blocking an enemy’s attack before laying into them with wild abandon. The beasts they ride are equally fearsome, trampling to a pulp anything and everything unfortunate enough to get in the way. This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components necessary to build a Mournfang Pack, made up of 4 ogors riding Mournfangs. Supplied with 4 Citadel 90x52mm Oval bases. |
The Gutbusters exist as nomadic empires of warmongering ogors. Larger and stronger than most other races of the realms, they range across the lands robbing and raiding to keep their caravans filled with victuals. They worship Gorkamorka as the Great Beast that Consumes the World, their driving ambition to devour the Mortal Realms. To the Gutbusters, everything is either food for now or food for later, and their minds are forever fixated on where their next juicy meal is coming from. Many favour bludgeoning weapons, and sometimes even blunt their blades, so as not to lose any precious blood or ruin organs when they slay their enemies, saving the tenderised meat-bags for a bit of snacking later on. This multi-part plastic set contains 131 components with which to build six Ogors that can be armed with a combination of clubs, blades and iron fists. Options are included for building a Crusher, an Icon Bearer and a Bellower. Supplied with 6 Citadel 40mm Round bases and 6 Citadel 25mm Round bases. |
The ferocious war-leaders of the Gutbuster warglutts, Tyrants are living mountains of iron and blubbery flesh. Despite their girth, they move with surprising speed, hacking their prey into bloody chunks for easier consumption. Tyrants are great leaders for any Ogor army, particularly those using loads of Gutbusters units like Gluttons, Ironguts and Gnoblars. Savagely effective fighters who can go toe-to-toe with even the toughest enemy Heroes, Ogor Tyrants can also shield your units from battleshock tests, letting them stay in the fight for longer. Meanwhile, a wealth of detail makes this model a pleasure to paint and an excellent display piece for your collection. This kit is supplied in 14 plastic components and comes with a 50mm round base. |
CONTENTS This set contains a large cavalry regiment for Kings of War, including: 3 Ogre Crew with metal arms 6 Scythed Wheels 6 Gores 50x100mm Bases 2 Mantic Points Models supplied unassembled and unpainted. |
Ogres are large, primitive humanoids. While not inherently evil, they have a tendency towards violence and cruelty which makes them extremely susceptible to the corrupting influence of the Shadow Deep. All of this makes them ideal shock troops in the armies of evil. Resin model, supplied unpainted. Designed to go with 28mm sized figures. |
Maneaters are shameless and savage mercenaries who fight for food and shiny trinkets. Wandering the realms, alone or in small warrior bands, they sell their services as much for the sport of war as for the rewards it brings, moving on to fresh battlefields whenever they grow bored. This box contains one Maneater armed with Slicers and Bashers - a finely detailed resin cast kit that comes as eight components, and is supplied with a 40mm Square Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints. |

Very little is truly known about the Ogroid Thaumaturges – other than their fearsome prowess in combat. In their rage, their skin writhes with arcane energy, eldritch sigils blazing across their muscular frames. Multicoloured flames of Tzeentch erupt about them as they tear enemies apart with their bare hands, giving them the strength to pierce even sigmarite armour with their formidable horns. Most disturbingly, these creatures are no mere brutes but possessed of impressive sorcerous ability, hurling blasts of flaming energy at the foe. This multi-part plastic kit contains the 16 components necessary to assemble a hulking, imposing Ogroid Thaumaturge. Standing at almost twice the height of a Kairic Acolyte, and covered in sculpted sigils, he’s a model who can be easily painted to represent the incredible arcane energy within. He’s armed with a thaumaturge staff, topped with a horned skull emitting magical flame. This kit is supplied with a Citadel 50mm Round base. |

Oil War, 112 pages hardback With Europe ablaze the shadow of war quickly crept across the globe. In the Middle East, Iran and Iraq had been locked in a conflict across their border since 1980, and looked unlikely to stop anytime soon. Further west, Israel and Syria had come to blows in Lebanon as Israel fought PLO forces operating from inside their northern neighbour. The oil rich region, already rife with conflict and tension, was about to be drawn into World War III as the Soviet Union and US led NATO set about protecting their interests in the black gold that kept the wheels of industry turning. Oil War includes information on World War III in the Middle East, covering Israel, Iraq, Syria and Iran in Team Yankee. Oil War Preview: With Wayne Turner Oil War marks a departure from our usual format for Team Yankee books in a couple of ways. It sees the Team Yankee story move to a new theatre, with the Soviet Union and NATO inserting themselves into the ongoing Iran-Iraq conflict. It also sees a mix of forces, not all from the same alliance, in the one book. So what’s inside? Background Oil War details the spread of World War III to the middle-east as the combatant nations scramble to secure precious oil supplies. Inside you will find background for the Israelis, Iraqis and Iranians in the lead up to World War III, as well as details of their conflicts immediately beforehand. Forces Oil War contains Forces, Formations and Units for fielding Israeli, Iraqi, and Iranian forces. In addition there is also a section on how to field Syrians using the Iraqis and an additional formation and unit for the Soviets. Oil War |

PLEASE NOTE THE MINIATURE PICTURED IS NOT PROVIDED King Arthur is often seen as a figure of myth - surrounded by shining knights, devious wizards and magic swords, yet the legends of King Arthur may have some historical basis. Practical Tabletop Battles for those with limited time and space by Neil Thomas. One of the biggest problems facing wargamers is finding the time to actually play. Most commercially available sets of rules require several hours to set up and play to a conclusion; some can easily swallow up a whole day or weekend. For many gamers this means that their lavishly prepared miniature armies rarely get used at all. Apart from time, the other consideration is space, which further constrains the opportunities for a game. In One-hour Wargames, veteran gamer and rule-writer Neil Thomas has addressed both these problems. Now it is practical to play a game in around an hour on a normal dining table or living room floor. The book contains 8 (all-new) sets of very simple rules for various periods, from Ancient to WW2 and 30 scenarios which can be played using any of them, so you don't even have to take too much time thinking up a stimulating tactical situation and objectives. All the rules and scenarios are intended to be played on a 3ft x 3ft battlefield. The rules only require a small number of miniatures, so this really is an ideal way for new gamers, or veterans trying a new period, to get started with minimal investment of time and money. Also ideal for a quick game in the evening when a friend pops round. There are also sections on campaigns and solo games. |

Components to make 1 Opel Blitz, or Maultier variant, model. Complete, full colour - building & painting guide. Plastic Seated Infantry Waterslide Decals Clear acetate template for windscreen and side windows Play data cards Smoke & damage markers The Opel Blitz came as a Type S 2 wheel drive and a Type A or "Allrad" that had a 4 x 4 chassis, enabling it to cope with most conditions and provided a superb structure on which were built such conversions as a radio truck (a metal and wood superstructure on the rear that housed radio equipment), Kfz. 385 Tankwagon (a specialized fuel tanker conversion), plus a variety of local workshop produced anti aircraft weapon platforms - mounting everything from the standard Wehrmacht 20mm & 37mm AA to the more feared Quad 20mm Flakvierling 38 AA gun. Perhaps a more famous adaptation was the Opel Maultier "Mule" half-track. Introduced in 1941 following the dire Rasputitsa conditions of the Eastern Front that had brought the entire army to a stand still. This conversion, utilizing the track system of the obsolete Panzer I, gave the German army a very competent all purpose mover and it would see action through out the rest of the war. The new Warlord Games plastic kit features crisp detail in an easy to build format and allows you to build either the standard Opel Blitz truck with canopy up (open or closed at the rear) or down, or the enigmatic Maultier variant. Plus you'll find all those cool extras, such as data cards and vehicle damage markers, to help field either vehicle on your Bolt Action battlefield! Don't forget that you will also have a full-colour building guide and waterslide decals to build either variant! |
Operation Sea Lion Bolt Action Campaign is packed with reverent nods to our favourite wartime films and TV programmes, this action packed, full colour, 124 page, ‘What If?’ Bolt Action Campaign book brings the war to the shores of England. The Year is 1940, and the German invasion of Britain has begun! With this new Campaign book for Bolt Action, players can fight the battles of World War II’s greatest ‘What If’ scenario. Defend the beaches of Kent against waves of German landing craft, parachute into the Home Counties in a surgical strike to capture Winston Churchill, or rally the Home Guard to hold off the invaders! With new rules, scenarios, and unit types covering the unique features of this alternative history campaign, you now have the chance to rewrite the history of World War II. Background to the campaign A successful invasion of a large island with substantial military assets will never be easy; consider the plans for Operation Olympic, the proposed invasion of Japan at the end of World War II – but naval supremacy is undoubtedly a prerequisite. England’s (and later the United Kingdom’s) naval supremacy left the invincible armies of Philip of Spain and Napoleon staring impotently at the storm-tossed, twenty miles of grey sea that separated the island from the continent. Nothing essentially had changed in 1940. But let’s play a game of make believe, a tale of what if. What if somehow, some way, the Germans managed to evade the long reach of the Royal Navy to throw themselves upon the beaches and landing fields of Britain in September 1940? This book is about what happens next... we hope you'll enjoy. John Lambshead Operation Sea Lion Bolt Action Campaign is a 124 page softback book containing: Inside you'll find a complete time line from 1935 to the invasion of Britain in September 1940 and the days that followed. Top notch new units, vehicles, theatre selectors, 'What If' history, the 'Real' history and scenarios with campaign rules... all that's missing is a cup of tea. Discover the weird and wonderful ways the British boffins worked everyday weapons into destructive oddities to defend the home shores - ranging from the Northover projector (the last ever black powder weapon issued to the British army), to the Spigot Mortar - a weapon that ignited Winston Churchill’s ‘boy’s own’ love of the dramatic. We also find out about Winne & Pooh - two 14" guns - and why the Germans dropped a wooden bomb on Pooh! There are of course many, many more weapons, units (roller skates anyone?) & vehicles listed - with models to come hot on the heals of the book (but more about them later...), we just can't wait for the Great Panjandrum - 35 rockets propelling a 10ft wooden wheel at speeds of 60 mph - packed with explosives... just imagine that screaming toward you as you land on the beach! |
Repugnant to other Necrons, Ophydian Destroyers echo elements of servile Canoptek Wraiths and reviled Flayed Ones in their murder-optimised bodies. Tunnelling through solid ferrocrete with frenzied violence and flickers of dimensional displacement, they burst into view to ambush, hack and rend their prey apart. Slice your way through enemy units with the fast and deadly Ophydian Destroyers. Armed with hyperphase weapons and Ophydian claws, little can survive an attack from these floating killers. You can accompany your unit with a Plasmacyte who can power up the Destroyers. The kit comes with six different heads, meaning that you can customise your Destroyers. This 57 part plastic kit makes three Ophydian Destroyers and a Plasmacyte. It is supplied with three 50mm round Citadel bases and a 28.5mm round Citadel base. |
Introduction Game Air is a range of water-based, matte acrylic colors, developed especially for airbrushing. The very latest formulation of this range uses new resins that have been selected for qualities which up till now could not be achieved in water based colors. The strength, resistance and covering power of Game Air is superior to any acrylic airbrush colour currently available. Game Air is also ideal for application by brush to highlight the smallest detail on a miniature. The pigments have been selected according to their degree of light fastness and optimum micronisation. The effects of washes and transparencies can be obtained by diluting the colors and all the colours and varnishes can be mixed together and diluted with airbrush thinner. Game Air Colours The colours in the Game Air range have been selected to appeal to modelers and wargamers who use the existing Game Color range, so are ideal for all fantasy modelling. The names and shades of the most popular colors of Game Color have been retained in Game Air, but using the finer formulation and resins employed for Model Air (see Equivalency Table). In the color chart we include a diagram of the most frequent colour combinations: base color, light and shadow. Surfaces Game Air has exceptional performance on all materials. The adhesion of the colours on resin, plastic, steel and white metal is extraordinary. Moreover the surfaces do not require previous priming. Only in the case of a very dark base may it be useful to first apply a primer in order to increase the brightness of the final colors. How to Use Shake well before using. Pour the paint directly into the airbrush, either undiluted or previously diluted with Thinner (71.261). Colors can be mixed in the cup of the airbrush. Game Air dries almost instantly on the model and permits immediate application of aging processes as well as the use of washes, pigments, and dry-brush techniques. |

Orc & Goblin Tribes attack as a manic tide of destructive enthusiasm. With little heed for their own safety, they throw themselves upon the enemy using unsubtle, but nevertheless effective tactics of choppin' and smashin' their foes. Orc Boyz form into rag-tag regiments that enthusiastically surge towards the enemy. These mobs fight with crude hand weapons and hefty shields, stabbing and battering their way through their foes. This multipart plastic kit builds 31 Orc Boyz, who are just itching to get stuck into melee for your Orc & Goblin Tribes. These brutish fighters can be built carrying rugged shields and hand weapons, or with shields and thrusting spears. Alternatively, the unit can maraud into battle armed with a pair of hand weapons – perfect for splitting enemy skulls. You’ll also find components to build a full command section – a mighty Boss to lead your unit, a musician, and a standard bearer with a choice of a skull or a cloth banner. This kit contains 416 plastic components, and 35x Citadel 30mm Square Bases. It also includes 1x Orc Transfer Sheet featuring 75 high-quality waterslide transfers to decorate your models further. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. |

To more civilised eyes, an Orc flotilla resembles nothing more than enormous piles of wreckage floating merrily along on the tide. Only when sails unfurl and the motley mountains of detritus change course and head directly towards them do most sea-captains start to worry. 1x Hammerfist 1x Bloodrunner 2x Rabble Squadron (4 ships) 3x orc ship cards 4x MDF bases |
The TWO THIN COATS paint range features primary and secondary colours, as well as flesh tones, natural tones, metallic’s, and washes. All of the paints are designed around a triad system that consists of a shadow, a mid-tone, and a highlight, yet all can be used individually to create whatever result you desire. TWO THIN COATS paints will stand out due to their flow, how well they can be thinned (of course), the depth of their colour, and their most unique feature, how smooth they are when applying and particularly how smooth the finish is on the end result. 15ml paint in dropper bottle with paint agitator (mixing ball). |
