  • Jackals

    BRONZE AGE FANTASY ROLEPLAYING

The Zaharets, the land between the Vori Wastes and the Plains of Aeco, is well-known as the Land of Risings. Dominated by the rising city-states of Ameena Noani and Sentem, facing each other along the great War Road, the Zaharets has always been home to powerful civilizations. Beastmen ruins dot the landscape, a constant reminder of the Kingdom of Sin and the fragility of the Law of Men. Even older are the great ruins of the Hulathi, the legendary sea peoples, and the Hannic mansions sealed beneath the mountains, awaiting those who would seek out the Lost Folk. Scars abound from the wars between ruined Keta in the north and Gerwa in the south. And, far to the east, the legends of Muadah still beckon occultists and Jackals who seek to plunder its corrupted ruins.

Inspired by the myths, cultures, and history of the Ancient Near East, and by such ancient texts as the Iliad, the Epic of Gilgamesh, and the Old Testament, Jackals is a Sword & Sorcery roleplaying game set in a Fantasy Bronze Age. With mechanics based on the popular OpenQuest system, the game places players in the role of Jackals - adventurers, explorers, sellswords, and scavengers - and sends them out into the peril-filled land of the Zaharets to make their fortune… or perhaps fulfill a greater destiny…

  • Jade Green

The TWO THIN COATS paint range features primary and secondary colours, as well as flesh tones, natural tones, metallic’s, and washes. All of the paints are designed around a triad system that consists of a shadow, a mid-tone, and a highlight, yet all can be used individually to create whatever result you desire.

TWO THIN COATS paints will stand out due to their flow, how well they can be thinned (of course), the depth of their colour, and their most unique feature, how smooth they are when applying and particularly how smooth the finish is on the end result.

  • Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer

Based on the reliable Czechoslovakian Panzer 38(t) chassis, almost 3,000 of Hetzers (Baiters) were built by the war’s end. Their small size and very low profile gave them distinct advantages in the role of tank hunters.

In addition, the Hetzer wasn’t hampered by the mechanical problems associated with the larger tank destroyers such as the Jagdpanther and Jagdtiger, nor did it have the unprotected fighting compartment of the Nashorn or Marder tank hunters. plus its remote control roof machine gun gave it good close defence capability.

Hetzers equipped many Waffen-SS and Wehrmacht (even the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine) formations, seeing action on all fronts on which Germany fought as well as with the Hungarian army. The first Hetzers entered service with 731st and 743rd Heeres Panzerjäger Abteilung in May/June of 1944.

This plastic boxed set allows you to build one of three vehicle types: A mid/late production Hetzer, Flammpanzer 38(t) and 2cm FlaK auf Hetzer reconnaissance/AA vehicle.

Includes: one 1/56th scale hard plastic Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer tank destroyer, vehicle damage markers, full-colour assembly and painting guide, Bolt Action stat cards and waterslide decal sheet (for German and Hungarian vehicles).

  • Jagdtiger

The Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B, known as the Jagdtiger (hunting tiger) was the heaviest tank ever to see action during World War Two. Developed late in the conflict, only around 80 actually reached combat, the first in September of 1944.

Germany, like many nations, made use of existing tank designs to make self-propelled guns and tank destroyers. The Jagdtiger was a colossal example of this practice – the Germans wanted to upgrade the much-feared Tiger II by mounting the 128mm Pak 44 cannon into a purpose-built armoured casement atop the lengthened King Tiger Chassis. 150 units were ordered to tackle the ever-encroaching Soviet armour – the Pak more than capable of tearing through Allied armour.

At 71 tons, the behemoth had nearly 10 inches of armour to the front of its casement housing, making it one of the most well protected tanks of the war. However, all this weight and protection came at the cost of reliability. Many roads and bridges simply couldn’t take its weight. This, coupled with the increasing scarcity of spare parts and fuel, kept the Jagdtiger from fulfilling its potential.

The 'teeth' of the Jagdtiger, was the 128mm PaK 44 anti-tank gun. Noted for its weapon's performance at long ranges, the Jagdtiger was rightly feared. However, the limited traverse of the gun meant the tank had to turn on the spot to bring the enemy into its sights and the two-part ammunition required extra crew to load. To represent this in Bolt Action, the 128mm Pak 44 does not suffer from -1 penetration penalty when firing at targets at over half range.

Only two German schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung (heavy anti-tank battalions) included Jagdtigers, the 512th Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion and the 653rd Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion. A company of the 512th was commanded by renowned Panzer Ace, Otto Carius, credited with the destruction of more than 150 tanks and a similar number of anti-tank guns – he would earn the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The included waterslide transfer sheet features Carius’ decals.

  • Japanese Bamboo Spear Fighter squad

As the Second World War progressed, Japanese forces were pushed back from the territorial gains they had made in the early stages of the war.

With Allied bombing and ground campaigns hampering Japanese industry the Emperor’s soldiers learnt to use whatever materials were at hand to face the enemy, as firearms and ammunition became ever more scarce. This would see Japanese soldiers sacrificing themselves with grenades, a courageous last ‘banzai’ charge with swords drawn, or using sharpened lengths of bamboo as makeshift spears.

The fanatical devotion to their Emperor, their country and their honour led many brave Japanese soldiers to such lengths. Allied troops were both in awe and disbelief of such heroics as the Japanese assault would more often than not perish in the face of sustained Allied firepower. Yet still the Japanese attacked...

The figures in this boxed set represent a squad of desperate but proud Japanese soldiers in the remnants of their uniforms, bedraggled and unkempt yet not bowed by their situation or likely fate. Banzai!

  • Japanese Infantry Plastic Boxed Set

Thought of as invincible by the Allied forces in the early stages of World War II, the Japanese soldier was a brave, disciplined, often fanatical, warrior who fought to the death sometimes against overwhelming odds. • Japanese Special Naval Landing Force

The Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces (SNLF) were the marine troops of the Imperial Japanese Navy.

Due to the deep distrust the Japanese Army and Navy had for each other, joint operations were all but out of the question and the Navy created the Special Naval Landing Forces as a result. First seeing action in 18932 during the 'Shanghai Incident' of the Sino-Japanese War, the SNLF were highly trained, high quality troops with excellent morale. Each SNLF formation was named after the base in which it as formed.

Naval troops wore uniforms of a similar cut to those of the Army, but in olive drab rather than the Army’s khaki and with black rather than brown boots. This makes a unit of SNLF stand out nicely from the Army units in your force, adding greater variety as well as no mean performance.

The SNLF spearheaded the landings in the Philippines and the Dutch East Indies, as the Japanese forces cut a swathe across the Pacific with great success. When faced with determined resistance, such as at the invasion of Timor and the Battle of Milne Bay in 1942, they often experienced heavy casualties due to their unwillingness to surrender. When completely out of ammunition, they would often resort to hand-to-hand fighting with their swords.

A 6th US Marine Division intelligence report prior to the landing at Tarawa in August 1943 stated “Naval units of this type are usually more highly trained, and have a greater tenacity and fighting spirit than the average Japanese Army unit.”

This plastic and metal set contains parts to make 32 SNLF. It includes plastic Japanese Infantry sprues plus metal parts with new heads for every model (including an officers tropical hat and a sailor's cap). The set also includes equipment packs including their distinctive gas-masks. There are also two new metal bodies as well as arms firing a pistol and wielding a ceremonial sword. The set is rounded off nicely with the full-colour sheets of flags and devotional banners - great to hang from weapons as they take Emperor's word to the enemy...

  • Judge Dredd - Block Gang

With unemployment and boredom rife in Mega-City One, many citizens, especially juves, join gangs. Many gangs identify with and recruit solely from a single block, whilst others pull in members from all across the city, attracted to the gang’s philosophy, colours, or charismatic leader. Many gangs will simply protect their own territory and try to take control of the local ‘black economy’ of illegal drugs and other banned substances such as tobacco, sugar, Umpty Candy and 20th-century comic books. Other gangs identify with causes or crazes, including the many anti-robot and anti-mutant outfits such as the ‘Neon Knights’ and ‘Purity First’ or anti-Judge and pro-democracy terrorism like the ‘Total War’ group. • Judge Dredd - Judge Dredd Foot and Mounted

For millions of Mega-City One’s citizens there can be no greater symbol of the law than Judge Joe Dredd, not even the Statue of Judgement itself. The mere mention of his name is enough to give even the most hardened criminals pause. Dredd has been appointed a temporary member of the Council of Five on several occasions. However, he is only truly content when patrolling the streets dispensing the law directly and his well-known dislike of bureaucracy keeps him well away from the Hall of Justice. If it is true that a man can be measured by the quality of his enemies then Dredd will take some beating. Over the years, he has clashed with mad Chief Judges, transdimensional denizens of Deadworld, super agents of the Sov Bloc, necromancers and powerful mutant pre-cogs. Yet it’s probably safe to say that from Dredd’s perspective bringing one of these individuals to justice is no more important than the prosecution of a citizen for littering or a juve for spraying graffiti on a wall. • Judge Dredd - Street Judges

To the average Mega-City One inhabitant, the most obvious symbol of the power and authority of the Justice Department is the Street Judge. These formidable individuals are responsible for the strict enforcement of the law on the dangerous streets of the ‘Big Meg', where they act as judge, jury and executioner.

Crimes ranging from littering to first-degree murder fall within their remit and the punishments of a perpetrator can vary from a stern word of admonition, a crack on the head with a daystick, to imprisonment in an isolation cube or, in the most serious cases, a Lawgiver execution round.

Becoming a Judge is a lifelong undertaking and many individuals falter on the arduous path. Some end up on the streets disenchanted and bitter at what might have been whilst for many Street Judges Resyk will be their final destination.

  • Judge Dredd - The League of Fatties

In the 2080s speed and volume eating, ‘scoffing’, became a competitive sport and extreme obesity became the desired body image for many Mega-City citizens. In retaliation to the percieved injustice of the food restrictions following the Apocalypse War, militant elements of the obese founded the ‘League of Fatties’ believing they had an inalienable right to food, which they would take by any means necessary. Whilst an individual Fattie might seem a less than threatening figure, the first food raids saw massed wedges of obese activists trundling forward supported by their BeliWheels®. With their layers of flab providing a natural armour against anything but the most lethal weapons, little could stop them once momentum was gained. Large numbers of ‘Skinnies’ and ‘Bones’ were crushed in the stampedes and from belly flops but, after the death of several Judges trying to protect a food storage facility, a crackdown was swift. Most Fatties were confined to special Fat Blocks, kept on strict diets for the maintenance of public order and their own protection until their weight fell below the 300-kilogram mark. • Judge Dredd Citi-Def

The rank and file Citi‐Def trooper is a volunteer drawn from the block population who agrees to spend at least one day a month attending Citi‐Def training and orientation meetings. All are given basic training in squad tactics and care and maintenance of personal weapons. They are issued with a ballistic shell suit and assigned a weapon that must be returned to the armoury at the end of any training event. However, such is the popularity of the Citi‐Def to certain ‘warcrazy’ individuals that Citi‐Def captains can hold meetings on a weekly or even daily basis, some even allow their enthusiastic followers to take their weapons home between sessions – an offence with a mandatory sentence of no less than two years per count if the Judges find out.

  • Judge Dredd Citi-Def Reinforcements

Larger blocks have a secure armoury in which most of the Citi‐Defs weapons are stored. This includes not only small arms but also various explosives and an array of heavy weapons. Unfortunately, some less than stable squad leaders have been known to abuse this authority when reacting to a troublesome neighbouring block.

  • Judge Dredd Cursed Earth Raiders

More radical Mutie factions dream of taking the MegaCities away from the ‘norms’ and take every opportunity to raid the cities themselves, causing destruction and sowing terror. Due to the massive wall defences of the Mega‐Cities an overland attack is nigh suicidal. Raiders who master the air have had the most success, suddenly swooping over the wall defences on a bewildering array of jet‐packs, skyboards and anti‐grav transports.

  • Judge Dredd Judge Anderson

One of Psi Division’s greatest stars is Cassandra Anderson. She specialises in the fields of telepathy and precognition, where she has few peers. Born in 2080 Anderson is probably as far removed from Dredd’s ideal of what a Judge should be as can be imagined. She is an outspoken critic of many aspects of the Justice Department, displays her emotions, and has empathy for others. Particularly irritating to Dredd and the Justice Department’s rather strait‐laced leadership is her flippant, joking demeanour and ability to interact with other Judges on an informal level. Despite all that when the safety of Mega‐City One is threatened she is uncompromising and prepared to use both lethal psychic and physical force against any threats. This aspect of Anderson is respected by Dredd, and they have teamed up on numerous occasions.

  • Judge Dredd Mutant Sky Raiders

Despite the widespread opinion of Muties as stupid and animal‐like, a surprising number are tech‐savvy and scavenge extensively among the ruins of the Cursed Earth. There are dozens of small bands with the skill to convert run-of‐the‐mill mounts, such as Power Boards and Sky Bikes, into deadly machines of war.

  • Judge Dredd: Helter Skelter

Using the Wildlands system Osprey Games brings you...

Something in the multiverse has shattered, and now the universe is bleeding. Throughout Mega-City One there are reports of invaders wreaking havoc: Celtic barbarians in Ezquerra Block. Russian nobles in Apetown. And rumors of fragments of other universes scattered across the city, waiting to be claimed.

The worlds of Judge Dredd, Sláine, Strontium Dog, and Nikolai Dante will crash together on tabletops in the miniatures board game Judge Dredd: Helter Skelter, which features gameplay similar to that of Wildlands, although the two games cannot be combined.

The game brings some of 2000 AD’s most well-known characters to the streets of Mega-City One, fighting for the shattered fragments of their own universe! Faction-specific action decks and new special character abilities give each group their own playstyle, from the well-armed Judges with their explosive ammo to the bestial fury of Sláine and his Celtic allies. Playing to your faction's strengths and exploiting your opponents' weaknesses will be the key to claiming victory on the streets of Mega-City One.

  • Judgements of Khorne

When the necroquake shook the foundations of the Mortal Realms, the barriers between the aether and the Mortal Realms were weakened. For practitioners of magic, this meant more eldritch powers were within their reach – for the followers of Khorne, who despise the arcane, it meant they could more easily draw manifestations of the Blood God’s judgements from the Realm of Chaos and send them crashing down upon their enemies.

Judgements of Khorne are the Blood God’s answer to endless spells. Summoned into battle by Khorne Priests like the Slaughterpriest, each makes a devastating impact on the battlefield. In this set, you’ll find all the Judgements of Khorne, including:

    - The Hexgorger Skulls, manifestations of Khorne’s will that mess with enemy casters and rob them of spells

    - The Bleeding Icon, a symbol of Khorne that can crush foes and make failed battleshock tests even more dangerous

    - The Wrath-axe, a supernatural blade that cleaves through enemy units

Each of these Judgements of Khorne is a striking, eye-catching model that’ll stand out superbly on the tabletop, with unusual elements like waves of energy and pools of blood that’ll be a treat to paint.

This kit is supplied in 14 plastic components and is supplied with 2 x 60mm round bases and 2 x 105mm oval bases.
