Set includes generals, Legates and senior Centurions. There are many head and arm options whilst the armour and horse furniture is highly detailed and intricate.

There are 12 mounted figures in the set. Remember leadership is everything on the battlefield.

Each Roman Century would be provided with a Scorpio Catapult to accompany them on the battlefield but when fighting as a legion these would be combined to form a battery. Typically this would consist of 60 Scorpions and be located on a hill with the Legion protecting it's sides. With a rate of fire of up to four shots a minute this would send 240 bolts into the enemy army every minute. The weight and speed of these bolts would mean that shields and armour would offer little protection.

The Polish army that fought and died so bravely in 1939 was large, well-officered and relatively well equipped. It fought hard, but was entirely outmanoeuvred by fast moving German armoured thrusts supported by all arms in a new dynamic style of war that a largely foot slogging army could not match. When the Russians stabbed them in the back, dividing Poland into two, it was all too much for an already over extended army short of armour and air support and the end was inevitable.

That being said there were many desperate actions fought where the Poles fought the invaders to a standstill, and the stolid infantry held their ground and their dashing cavalry caught the enemy napping.

Introduction

Game Air is a range of water-based, matte acrylic colors, developed especially for airbrushing. The very latest formulation of this range uses new resins that have been selected for qualities which up till now could not be achieved in water based colors. The strength, resistance and covering power of Game Air is superior to any acrylic airbrush colour currently available.  Game Air is also ideal for application by brush to highlight the smallest detail on a miniature. The pigments have been selected according to their degree of light fastness and optimum micronisation. The effects of washes and transparencies can be obtained by diluting the colors and all the colours and varnishes can be mixed together and diluted with airbrush thinner.

Game Air Colours

The colours in the Game Air range have been selected to appeal to modelers and wargamers who use the existing Game Color range, so are ideal for all fantasy modelling. The names and shades of the most popular colors of Game Color have been retained in Game Air, but using the finer formulation and resins employed for Model Air (see Equivalency Table). In the color chart we include a diagram of the most frequent colour combinations: base color, light and shadow.

Surfaces

Game Air has exceptional performance on all materials. The adhesion of the colours on resin, plastic, steel and white metal is extraordinary. Moreover the surfaces do not require previous priming. Only in the case of a very dark base may it be useful to first apply a primer in order to increase the brightness of the final colors.

How to Use

Shake well before using. Pour the paint directly into the airbrush, either undiluted or previously diluted with Thinner (71.261). Colors can be mixed in the cup of the airbrush. Game Air dries almost instantly on the model and permits immediate application of aging processes as well as the use of washes, pigments, and dry-brush techniques.

Eidolon of Mathlann Idoneth Deepkin is a multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble an Eidolon of Mathlann, in his form as an Aspect of the Storm or as an Aspect of the Sea.

He comes armed with a fuathar – a spear of repressed fury – and a crulhook; the former is a long, barbed spear held in the Eidolon’s left hand, while the latter is a set of serrated blades attached to his right arm by a strong chain. His armour resembles a set of scales, topped of by a closed-face helm and enormous crest which resembles a spiked net. The most striking feature of both Eidolon models which can be built from this kit is definitely the cloak – representing the unimaginable power of the seas, it is styled as a cascading torrent of ocean water.
