She is the Mourning Bride, the Unrequited Queen, the Veiled Lady and the Mortarch of Grief. She is despair made manifest, gloom given form. She is Lady Olynder, and in her are bound all the sorrows and anguishes of the realms. Her power transcends the melancholic, for she exudes mind-crippling waves of pure desolation. Mortals in her presence are overwhelmed by a gloom so heavy that only the strongest willed can stay upright. Most fall to their knees, mentally battered by their own utter hopelessness. It is a sorrow potent enough to cause a mother to forsake her child, a warrior to lay down his sword and accept the inevitable, to stop a beating heart. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Lady Olynder, Mortarch of Grief. As the Mortarch of Grief, she is surrounded by an aura of absolute misery – this miniature does an impressive job of capturing the bleakness. Hovering above the ground in her ghastly bridal dress and veil, little can actually be seen of her form other than the outline of a skull. Her bridal train, ruined and shredded, flows out behind her, with a wisp of this ethereal garment attaching the miniature to its base. Thorny vines of grave-roses, which sprout wherever she floats, wrap themselves around her waist and up to her headdress, which itself resembles a thorned briar. In her right hand she wields the Staff of Midnight, an ornate stave topped with a polished gemstone of vitrified grave-sand. She is accompanied by 2 macabre Banshee Handmaidens, horrifying skull-faced spectres. Each carries a gift – an ensorcelled grave-sand hourglass given by Nagash himself which can be smashed asunder with lethal effect, and a sealed casket, the contents of which are a mystery; hardly likely to be anything at all positive... This model comes as 23 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 60mm Round base.
Situated on the shores of the Long Lake, Lake-town is a place of wooden jetties and houses standing upon wooden pillars. It is a place of busy trade, with packed fish markets making up the bulk of its narrow streets. Creaking wooden jetties jab out into the Long Lake itself – these wooden structures were infamously swamped in flame by the great Smaug the Terrible, who met his final fate here at the hands of Bard the Bowman. This detailed scenery piece allows you to build a Lake-town house. The Lake-town House features a great deal of modularity, meaning multiple kits can be easily converted to create your own Lake-town settlement. The house itself features reversible gable ends, and the kit includes a ton of extras: - 1 rowing boat with separate oars; - 2 barrels; - 2 fish baskets; - 1 glass float; - 3 lanterns; - 1 hanging sign board; - 1 outhouse, including seat and door; - 1 loading hook; - 3 long walkways and 1 short walkway.

12 x Late Roman Horse Archer figures 12 superbly detailed and animated models shooting to the front, side and rear representing the agility of these skilled mounted skirmishers. They come equipped with a powerful composite bow, bow case, arrow quiver, sword and small round shield strapped to their upper left arm. The Romans steadily increased the use of mounted horse archers in the army as they came into conflict with more and more Stepp nomad peoples who excelled with the use of the bow, as well as having to face the arrow storms of Sassanid Persian Horse archers. Many of the Roman horse archer units were recruited from the very enemies they had to face. The Notia Dignitatum a late Roman document listing the units of the Western and Eastern halves of the Empire lists nine units of light horse archers. There was probably a considerable amount more units in the Eastern Half of the Empire but the information is not as complete for this part of the Empire, but makes sense since most horse archer enemies were in the east. These miniatures don’t have to be restricted to just use as Late Romans. They can be used as Early Byzantines representing the men that fought for Belisarius against the Sassanids and the reconquest of Italy from the Goths. And they can be used as Palmyran horse archers. Palmyra was a client state of Rome based in Syria. They acted as a buffer state against the Sassanid Empire and scored a notable victory over the Sassanids under their king Odenathus. The Late Roman army was a fearsome foe. Its use of mixed arms, infantry and cavalry gave it flexibility and strength. PACK CONTENTS 12 riders and 12 horses
IN HOC SIGNO VINCES “In this sign, conquer”. The legions underwent significant expansion and changes through Diocletian and Constantine’s reforms but by the late 6th century would become almost unrecognizable. Still, the legionaries fought across the whole of the Roman world against Pict and Irish raiders in Britannia, Vandals in North Africa, Sassanid Persians in Mesopotamia, and the never-ending onslaught of migrating Germanic and Hunnic tribes. More often than not they fought in brutal civil wars to determine who would be Emperor. This hard plastic set allows you to build up to 24 legionaries with spatha, spear, and plumbata along with two types of standards and full command. This set provides three different helmet options: the Niedebieber, ridge, and Spangenhelm styles along with the fur “Panonnian” cap. There are two types of crest options and extra heads to create command. This set can also be used to create armored warriors for many Dark Age armies including Goths, Burgundians, Saxons, Franks, and the Romano-British among others. You will also be able to pair this box to provide up to six units-worth of command for our upcoming ARMY BUILDER set WAALR003! And look for more sets in the Decline and Fall range to come. 28mm sized plastic figures. Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included.

Once a courageous vampire-knight who, despite holding no love for Ghur's mortal races, refused to prey upon those weaker than herself, Lauka Vai's constant struggle against the hunger within was cruelly cut short while tangling with a Tzeentchian sorcerer. Upon falling into a pool of primordial ooze she returned in an altogether more monstrous form, slaying her fellow knights in a fit of rage before the red thirst could be quieted. Now found among the equally bestial Avengorii dynasty, she leads her fellow vampires with the dignity of a true warrior queen, all the while fighting an unwinnable war against her own base instincts. Standing tall over the battlefield as a bestial mixture of bat-fiend, drake and vampire, Lauka Vai strikes down would-be challengers with ease befitting a noble knight in monstrous form. While she retains her wits and keeps her thirst at bay, fellow Soulblight monsters hang on her every word, but a deadly rage can descend at any moment and turn the Mother of Nightmares into a charging, howling whirlwind of carnage. The kit is comprised of 39 plastic components, with which you can assemble one Lauka Vai, Mother of Nightmares, and is supplied with 1x Citadel 80mm Round Base. This model can alternatively be assembled as a Vengorian Lord.

Introduction Game Air is a range of water-based, matte acrylic colors, developed especially for airbrushing. The very latest formulation of this range uses new resins that have been selected for qualities which up till now could not be achieved in water based colors. The strength, resistance and covering power of Game Air is superior to any acrylic airbrush colour currently available. Game Air is also ideal for application by brush to highlight the smallest detail on a miniature. The pigments have been selected according to their degree of light fastness and optimum micronisation. The effects of washes and transparencies can be obtained by diluting the colors and all the colours and varnishes can be mixed together and diluted with airbrush thinner. Game Air Colours The colours in the Game Air range have been selected to appeal to modelers and wargamers who use the existing Game Color range, so are ideal for all fantasy modelling. The names and shades of the most popular colors of Game Color have been retained in Game Air, but using the finer formulation and resins employed for Model Air (see Equivalency Table). In the color chart we include a diagram of the most frequent colour combinations: base color, light and shadow. Surfaces Game Air has exceptional performance on all materials. The adhesion of the colours on resin, plastic, steel and white metal is extraordinary. Moreover the surfaces do not require previous priming. Only in the case of a very dark base may it be useful to first apply a primer in order to increase the brightness of the final colors. How to Use Shake well before using. Pour the paint directly into the airbrush, either undiluted or previously diluted with Thinner (71.261). Colors can be mixed in the cup of the airbrush. Game Air dries almost instantly on the model and permits immediate application of aging processes as well as the use of washes, pigments, and dry-brush techniques.

| The Cerberus is a rare variant of the Spartan chassis that uses its massive hull to mount a prototype neutron laser projector, as well as the sizable arc-reactors and radiation shielding needed to operate the weapon. The neutron laser is poorly understood by the adepts of the Mechanicum, but stands among the most effective anti-tank weapons available to the Space Marine Legions, capable of punching through the strongest plating and shorting out its target’s systems with bursts of radiation. The terrible toll the Cerberus takes on its crew is regarded by many commanders as a necessary cost, for this impressive tank can threaten even Titan-class opponents. This multipart plastic kit builds a Legion Cerberus, a massive tank capable of laying waste to the largest of targets. Its armoured hull is dominated by the triple-barreled neutron laser battery that gives the tank its name, but you’ll also find loads of options for auxiliary weapons. | Many of the Legiones Astartes make heavy use of MkIV 'Maximus' power armour. The most visibly distinct details of this mark of armour are the separated, squared knee pads, thin-trimmed shoulder pads, and helmets with long, broad face guards with slanting vents. A Balanced Force This loaded box is ideal for starting a new Legiones Astartes collection – or expanding an existing army – to take the battle to your enemies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, and it saves money compared to buying the kits separately. This force is built around a core of MkIV Tactical Legionaries and MkIV Assault Legionaries, and supported by a mighty Sicaran Battle Tank and a Contemptor Dreadnought. When taken together, they are a versatile and balanced army. This boxed set builds 32 multipart plastic Legiones Astartes miniatures: – 20 MkIV Tactical Legionaries – 2 Horus Heresy Tactical Marine accessory frames – 10 MkIV Assault Legionaries – 1 Sicaran Battle Tank – 1 Contemptor Dreadnought The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. You'll find 20 interchangeable helmeted heads, 12 bare heads, and 36 shoulder pads, and the kit is compatible with the Horus Heresy Tactical Marine accessory frame. The kit can alternatively build a Veteran Tactical Squad. The MkIV Assault Squad includes parts to build a Sergeant with either 2 power fists, 2 power claws, or a power fist or claw and a bolt pistol. The kit includes interchangeable components: 10 helmeted heads, 2 bare heads, 18 shoulder pads, 10 power lance upgrades, and 15 accessories. The Sicaran Battle Tank is equipped with turret-mounted accelerator autocannons, a hull-mounted heavy bolter, and a pair of sponson weapons – your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins. The kit includes components to upgrade this vehicle with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and cosmetic options such as towing hooks, a dozer blade, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch. The Contemptor Dreadnought includes 8 different ranged weapons to choose from – a conversion beam cannon, Gravis autocannon, Gravis bolt cannon, Gravis lascannon, Gravis melta cannon, Gravis plasma cannon, Kheres assault cannon, and volkite dual-culverin – each of which can be mounted on either of the Contemptor's arms. The kit also includes two melee fists, each of which can be built as either a Gravis power fist or Gravis chainfist, and sports your choice of in-built weapon – a combi-bolter, graviton gun, heavy flamer, meltagun, or plasma blaster. The miniature can even be built with a hull-mounted havoc launcher or head-mounted helical targeting array. You'll also find a variety of alternate components and cosmetic options, including two heads, four different carapace designs, a choice of claws or fingers for the power fists, and scrollwork and tilting shield accessories. These miniatures have no Legion-specific markings, so you can use them in any Legiones Astartes force, whether you're loyal to the Emperor or have joined Horus in his rebellion. | The Spartan Assault Tank is a huge armoured conveyer, designed to bear a great contingent of troops into the heart of enemy lines, weathering weapons fire that would be the death of any lesser vehicle. Protected by a sealed shell of legendarily durable plating, the Spartan's carrying capacity exceeds anything but a true super-heavy transporter, while retaining an impressive speed across the battlefield. Its quad lascannons make the Spartan a fearsome tank destroyer, while its secondary armaments allow it to sweep infantry from its path. The Spartan takes pride of place in the armouries of many Legions, its presence limited only by its sheer scale. This multipart plastic kit builds one Spartan Assault Tank, an imposing and indomitable transport vehicle. The Spartan is armed with two sponson-mounted lascannon arrays, as well as a twin-linked hull-mounted weapon – your choice of heavy bolter, heavy flamer, or lascannon. Both the sponsons and the front transport ramp can be assembled gluelessly, allowing you to adjust their positioning and expose the Spartan's detailed internal bay as you see fit. The kit also includes components to upgrade the Spartan with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and cosmetic options such as towing hooks, a dozer blade, icons for Loyalists and Traitors, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch. This kit comprises 213 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints. |
The Typhon is named for the ‘Great Beast’ of Terran myth, and lives up to its namesake in sheer brutal strength. Sharing a basic chassis with the Spartan Assault Tank, this heavy tank serves as a mobile gun-platform with enough power to operate a single massive piece of siege artillery – the dreadhammer cannon. The Typhon was created to meet the demands of the Primarch Perturabo of the Iron Warriors, who sought a war engine that could rapidly deploy such fortress-breaking firepower to the battle line alongside his Legionaries. Though unsubtle in design, its overwhelming effectiveness is beyond question. This multipart plastic kit builds one Typhon Heavy Siege Tank, an armoured tank with a truly massive cannon. This formidable vehicle's primary armament is the dreadhammer siege cannon, a centreline-mounted weapon capable of cracking bunkers, smashing enemy engines, and pulping whole squads. In addition to its main gun, the Typhon also sports a pair of sponson weapons – your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins. Both the siege cannon and sponsons can be assembled without glue, allowing you to adjust their positioning mid-battle. The kit also includes components to upgrade the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and a number of cosmetic options, such as towing hooks, sigils, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch. This kit comprises 221 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
The Arvus Lighter is a solid and reliable workhorse shuttle, affectionately referred to as ‘Little Pig’ among air crews. The Solar Auxilia employ these durable craft as unarmed combat transports, to insert officers and specialists into a war zone with pinpoint accuracy. This multipart plastic kit builds eight epic scale Auxilia Arvus Lighters. These squad flyers can ferry your Solar Auxilia infantry to secure far-flung objectives, and though they lack firepower, they add new tactical options to your games of Legions Imperialis. These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on appropriate Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately. This kit contains 100 plastic components, 8x Legions Imperialis 40mm Round Flying Bases, and a Solar Auxilia Vehicle Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. Please note that the base designs shown in the imagery may differ to those supplied in this product.
The Avenger Strike Fighter is a superlative ground attack aircraft designed to operate alongside Solar Auxilia cohorts during planetary invasions. Named for its primary armament, the Avenger bolt cannon, the Avenger excels at performing strafing runs on enemy armoured formations, raking the vulnerable weaker sides of their armoured hulls with mass-reactive bolt shells. The Avenger can also be employed in the secondary role of interceptor, providing close air support for ground troops against enemy bomber squadrons. The Solar Auxiliary is spoiled for choice when it comes to small, vicious dogfighters. Add Avenger Strike Fighters to your forces and provide massive firepower, which is protected by a tail gunner – rare on such a small craft. Their mix of weapons allows them to take a ground-attack role, or take out slow-moving bombers. They also have a unique style, looking like nothing else in your force with their down-swept wings, exposed engines and wide tails. These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately. The set includes: - 4x plastic Solar Auixilia Avenger Strike Fighter miniatures - 4x Legions Imperialis 40mm Round Flying Bases with ball socket stems - 1 Avenger Squadron transfer sheet These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
| The Baneblade is a super-heavy tank outfitted with a bewildering array of weapons, even for a vehicle of its prodigious size. Each Baneblade serves as a mobile bastion, as well as a symbol of pride to those who march alongside it. The Baneblade hull also serves as the basis for a number of more specialised variants employed by the Solar Auxilia – including the Hellhammer, which exchanges the standard Baneblade battlecannon with a Hellhammer cannon that sacrifices range for increased destructive capabilities. This multipart plastic kit builds two epic scale Solar Auxilia super-heavy tanks. Each of these massive vehicles bristles with firepower, and can be built with a choice of turret weapons – the Baneblade battlecannon to erase targets at range, or the Hellhammer cannon to deal with bunkers and heavy armour – alongside a co-axial autocannon. They also have a choice of sponson-mounted weapons – paired autocannons, heavy bolters, or heavy flamers. On top of these weapon options, both tanks sport a hull-mounted demolisher cannon and heavy bolter, plus paired lascannon sponsons. The kit includes cosmetic build options for each tank's cupola, allowing you to customise your vehicles with gunners, spotters, closed hatches, and so on. | The Knight Castigator is a Household’s answer to hordes of lesser foes. Armed with the fearsome Castigator pattern bolt cannon, this Knight is capable of obliterating infantry formations in a thunderous rain of mass reactive explosions and whirling power blades, and carving apart light vehicles with ease. The Cerastus Knight Acheron is a fearsome sight on the battlefield, a reaper of lives carefully designed not only to destroy with flames, but also to inspire terror both in appearance and the manner in which it undertakes its grim task. This multipart plastic kit builds four epic scale Cerastus Knights. Two of these war machines are Cerastus Knights Acheron, armed with Acheron chainfists and Acheron pattern flame cannons. The other two are Cerastus Knights Castigator, each wielding a Castigator warblade and Castigator pattern bolt cannon. | Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyers mount a neutron laser battery – a relic of the Dark Age of Technology. Even when properly shielded, each shot fired floods the interior with exotic radiation. Few crews last for more than a few years before requiring extensive augmetic reconstruction. Despite the terrible cost of its use, the neutron laser is one of the most effective anti-tank weapons available to the Space Marine Legions. This multipart plastic kit builds four Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyers, supreme anti-armour vehicles for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Legions Imperialis. These brutal but effective weapons are ideal for destroying even the heaviest enemy Knight or even Titan armour. When formed into large units, there's little that they can't handle. The kit includes options to arm your tanks with sponson-mounted lascannons or heavy bolters, and the top hatches can be assembled closed, with a tank commander, or with a gunner firing either a pintle-mounted heavy bolter or multi-melta. | Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titans are sturdier and more heavily armoured than their Warhound cousins, and function as ambushers in Legio Titanicus battlegroups. Dire Wolves hunker down in forward positions to ambush and obliterate key targets with precise shots from their primary dorsal weapon, while their pintle-mounted arm weapons offer some defence against lesser targets, allowing the Heavy Scout Titans to focus on lining up a firing solution. This multipart plastic kit builds two epic scale Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titans, swift and highly destructive god-engines. | The Malcador battle tank possesses a number of advantages to its design, the principal of which is its battle speed, which is truly formidable for a tank of its size thanks to a highly sophisticated drive system. By the time of the Horus Heresy, they saw use with second line Imperial Army units, while the focus moved on to smaller, more tactically flexible tanks. The demands of the war brought them back into mainline usage, where they’re fielded in massive formations and retrofitted with a diverse array of weapons. This multipart plastic kit builds four epic scale Malcadors, battle tanks for your Solar Auxilia armies. Faster and more lightly armoured than Leman Russ battle tanks, they can be equipped with a variety of weapons to cover your desired battlefield role. The turret can house a versatile Malcador battlecannon, armour-busting Malcador lascannon, or long-range sniper Malcador vanquisher battlecannon. The hull can be fitted with a heavy bolter, lascannon, autocannon, or demolisher cannon, and the sponsons can carry Malcador autocannons, Malcador lascannons, or Malcador heavy bolters.
