  • Blood Bowl Ogre Team Pitch & Dugouts

Ogre stadia would be ruggedly handsome, nestled as they often are high up in the mountains, were it not for the bloodstains and craters full of picked-over bones. If you're into that sort of thing, it’s extra pretty. If not, they can be a little less than welcoming.

One side of this pitch features a barren, rocky field, dominated by a toothy ogre-faced pit filled with the remains of their last team, or meal, as they like to call it. The other side features the same pitch, but covered in snowfall after a winter blizzard, with some ominous red ‘markings’ for the End Zones…

The pack also contains matching double-sided dugouts, replete with a score, goal and re-roll trackers, plus boxes for Reserves, Knocked Out and Serious Injuries. Rules to use both sides of the pitch are included for your reference.

  • Blood Bowl: Goblin Pitch & Dugouts

The Goblins prefer their pitches to feel like home – barren, desolate, and covered in mushrooms – and this pitch and dugout set is exactly that.

You'll find one side of the game board covered in craters and pockmarks, with the symbol of the Bad Moon at its centre. Flip the board over to reveal the aftermath of a heavy rainstorm, with the dugouts and craters embedded in the pitch knee-deep (or waist-deep, for a Goblin) in water.

The package includes two double-sided dugouts to match the style of the pitch. Each side of the dugouts feature the usual Reserves, Knocked Out, and Casualty boxes, plus score, turn, and Re-roll trackers. You'll also find rules to represent the particular features of both sides of the pitch.

  • Bolt Action Campaign: Fortress Budapest

Throughout the autumn of 1944, the Axis forces in the Carpathian Basin were fighting for their very existence. Campaign: Fortress Budapest will inspire and guide you through the entirety of this particular conflict and on to many more victories with your Bolt Action forces!

    What is this book?

The Siege of Budapest, the Soviet invasion of Hungary that led up to it, and the desperate German offensives to relieve the city covered kilometres of frontline; these battles lasted eight months and involved hundreds of thousands of combatants. Within the 168 pages of this impressive resource, the authors have squeezed in a variety of very different scenarios for players.

Fortress Budapest is the latest Campaign expansion to Bolt Action Second edition. Whilst there is historical detail within the narrative, this volume is not a history book – it is first and foremost an impressive wargaming supplement. The intention of the author Bryan Cook and the team who put this book together was to provide a good mixture of scenarios, new units, and new rules whilst still giving some historical background for context. Some previously published rules and units have also been reprinted – this is to save players the expense of buying additional books for content which is vital to this volume, but might form only a small part of other books.

    What's in this book:

Packed with history Fortress Budapest contains complete scenarios, additional special rules, army lists, new units and of course the all-important complete theatre selectors.

  • Bolt Action Campaign: Mariana & Palau Islands

This new campaign supplement for Bolt Action allows players to recreate the historic island-hopping battles between US and Imperial Japanese forces in the Pacific theatre that took place in 1944. Even whilst the Allies stormed the beaches of Normandy, US forces were beginning to sweep across the Pacific in their own Blitzkrieg, fighting embittered and ferocious battles across tiny strips of land against tenacious Japanese defenders.

The battles described are concerned with the campaigns of the Mariana and Palau Islands specifically and a number of battles are described in great detail, including those of Saipan, Guam, Peleliu and Anguar. The fighting during these campaigns was controversial and bloody, rivalling the battle of Stalingrad for sheer inhumanity in some instances. Though there were many other battles within these campaigns, their number makes them impossible to describe them all in full within a single volume. The book gives players enough tools to recreate any other battles themselves, should they wish.

A wealth of scenarios are included to represent some of the most important battles and are presented in such a way to form an extended campaign. You’ll find new units for the Japanese and United States (both the US Army and Marines), and all the special rules you need to play; including, crucially, those for amphibious assaults, dug in defenders and tropical hazards amongst many others.

  • Bolt Action Campaign: The Road to Berlin

Bolt Action's next step within its gaming world is exploring the downfall of the Third Reich. Diving through the Eastern front, you'll be able to learn about the very bloody and arduous operations both Germany and the Soviets endured, and the uprising of the Polish AK and Czech forces. With unrelenting leadership and an absurd amount of 'political motivation', the Russians finally managed to expose Nazi Germany after brutal years of fighting.

In June 1944 the Axis powers in Europe were about to be subjected to two major hammer blows. In the West, the final preparations were being made for Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Western Europe. In the East, the Red Army was planning a massive offensive, with bold objectives to critically damage the German Army and eject it entirely from the Soviet Union and, by pushing deep into Poland, providing the springboard for later offensives that would eventually find the Red Army in the streets of Berlin ushering in the final collapse of Hitler’s Third Reich.

For the Germans, a sense of fatalism began to grow, whilst amongst the Soviets, spirits rose. After the months of crushing defeats, encirclements and mass capitulations, the Germans were finally revealed to be beatable and their aura of invincibility had finally been ripped aside. This is well illustrated by a common story from the end of the Stalingrad operations where Soviet troops harassing sullen German prisoners, pointed at the remains of the devastated city and screamed that it would only be a matter of time before Berlin resembled the ruins of Stalingrad.

Contained within in the 148 pages of detailed text, breathtaking imagery and full-colour art, this book also has:

  • Bolt Action German Heer Support Group

    This set contains:

    1 x German Heer HQ
1 x German Heer Medium Machine Gun Team
1 x German Hear Medium Mortar Team
    German Heer HQ

German officers were capable and often experienced leaders. Junior officers were trained to undertake the role of their own immediate superiors, enabling them to use their initiative to take control of situations when necessary. An officer unit consists of the man himself and can include up to two other men acting as his immediate attendants.

German Heer Medium Machine Gun Team

The Germans were equipped with two excellent machine guns in the MG34 and rapid-firing MG42 – known to Allied troops as ‘Hitler’s Buzz Saw’ because of its distinctive noise, or ‘Spandau’. Unlike other armies, the Germans used the same machine gun both as a squad weapon from its bipod and as a tripod-mounted support weapon. The tripod mount provided a much more stable firing platform and made it easier to keep up a sustained fire using a belt feed.

    German Hear Medium Mortar Team

The standard German medium mortar of the war was the 80mm Granatwerfer 34. It was a very effective and accurate weapon that could provide longer range, on-call fire support. It had a maximum range of 2,400 metres and could maintain a rate of fire of 15–20 rounds per minute. It was carried by its crew in three pieces: base plate, tube and bipod.

  • Bolt Action Italy: Soft Underbelly

With the Axis Powers ejected from North Africa, the Western Allies look to take the fight to the “soft underbelly” of Europe – Italy. This campaign supplement for Bolt Action focuses on Operation Husky, the airborne and naval invasion of Sicily, the hard-fought battles in the villages and rugged mountain passes of that island, and the advance up the Italian Peninsula towards Rome. With a host of scenarios, new units, special rules & theatre selectors, this new book contains everything players will need to refight these important battles in defence of the Regno d’Italia or to strike at the weak link of Axis Europe to knock Italy out of the war.

With units, theatre selectors and scenarios for players of British (Commonwealth), United States, German and, of course, Italian Armies, this is an essential and fascinating campaign volume.

  • Bolt Action Soviet People's Militia Squad

‘Popular regimentation’ or the ‘people’s militia’ (Narodnoe Opolcheniye or Opolchenie) is a Russian tradition dating back to the 16th century and a powerful part of the national heritage. In times of emergency, a militia was selected from volunteers to serve alongside the regular army and defend their homes.

In the dark days of 1941-42, workers and citizens in Leningrad, Moscow, Rostov, Stalingrad and other major Soviet cities organized into militias and quickly found themselves on the front lines as the fascist invaders swept east. People’s militia squads were even more poorly trained and equipped than the average Red Army squad, but they fought on with tragic bravery.

The figures in this set represent one of the many militias that took the war to the Fascist invaders but are also ideal to be used as Soviet Partisans.

Box contains 12 metal Soviet People’s Militia models with plastic bases.

  • Bolt Action: Korea Supplement

Fought between 1950 and 1953, the Korean War was one of the first major conflicts of the Cold War. Backed by the Soviet Union and Communist China, the North Korean regime battled for control of the peninsula against the South Korean government and a 21-country UN task force.

The Korean War is unique and interesting in the annals of world and military history in its own right. An aspect rarely discussed is the cultural implications of so many Western, non-Western and European nations fighting against combatants from the Orient. Due to the vast cultural diversity of so many nations fighting in such a geographically small area, cultural differences would have a significant impact on how the combatants treated each other on the field of battle. These differences went beyond simple language barriers, they included problems in logistics, religion, personnel replacements and the method in which war was conducted.

Inside the book, you'll find a comprehensive history of the conflict with details of every major battle fought between the two sides. It also includes details of the various forces and their organisation, commanders, and equipment. Scenarios are provided for many of the battles, along with comprehensive force selectors to help you assemble your force.

  • Bolt Action: Stalingrad Campaign Book

This campaign book seeks to help wargamers recreate the incredible struggles between the German Wehrmacht and the Soviet Red Army for control of the region between the Don and Volga rivers – ultimately centring on the city of Stalingrad.

This six-month-long battle saw some of the fiercest fighting of the war, with each side losing hundreds of thousands of men and culminating in the encirclement and eventual destruction of the German Sixth Army.

While this book provides a historical overview of the Stalingrad campaign, its primary purpose is to provide new scenarios, rules, and inspiration to help wargamers bring this bitter struggle to life on the tabletop.

This book covers the southern region of the Ostfront from August 1942 to February 1943 including:

The opposed crossing of the Don River
The dash to the Volga river by German mobile divisions

  • Bringers of Death

Death stalks the Bloodwind Spoil. Nagash’s gaze turns towards this nightmare realm of slaughter and butchery, and he sends his midnight armies to claim the souls that he believes are rightfully his. Perhaps smaller warbands will succeed where his invasion has failed. Even now they chip away at the domains of the living with the cold patience of the grave, taking what land they can and replacing the madness with the unmoving, unchanging, unfeeling calm of the dead – in the name of the Great Necromancer.

Beyond the boundaries of space and time, the Chaos Gods observe the galaxy with ancient and malevolent eyes. To these terrible entities, realspace is simply a battlefield, and its inhabitants mere pawns in the grandest game of all – the struggle for ultimate dominion between the Ruinous Powers themselves. Their truest servants, who fight this war in their names, are the daemons created in their own image: creatures of staggering power, horrifying aspect and exceptional cruelty.

Codex: Chaos Daemons contains a wealth of background and rules – the definitive book for Chaos Daemons collectors. Within this 144-page hardback, you’ll find:

    - The Chaos Gods & Their Infernal Legions: descriptions of the warp, the maddening realm that the Chaos Gods call home, and of the major Chaos Gods – Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch and Nurgle – along with their servants, the Chaos Daemons;
    - Examples of the compositions of daemonic forces for the 4 Chaos Gods – the Scintillating Legions, the Plague Legions, the Blood Legions and the Legions of Excess;
    - Galactic Corruption: a map showing the impact of the Great Rift, from which the malign energies of the warp pour into realspace, with details of warp storms, Chaos strongholds and daemon worlds;
    - Chaos Rising: a brief history of major warp-based catastrophes and daemonic incursions – at least, the few that remain on-record…
    - Background and details on each character and unit available to a Chaos Daemons army;
    - A showcase of beautifully painted Citadel miniatures, with example armies featuring everything from individual images of models to battle scenes on terrain.

  • Citadel Crusade Figure Case

The Citadel Figure Cases are the perfect way to transport and protect your Citadel miniatures. Containing one set of our revolutionary channel foam, the Citadel Crusade Figure Case has been specially designed to fit almost any model that we make, any shape and size, quickly and easily without the chore of cutting and shaping to fit.

Packing and unpacking the case is absurdly quick and easy; any model, however pointy, placed anywhere within the channels will be protected as well as if you’d spent countless hours hacking away at a custom fit. You’ll free up more time to concentrate on games, painting or just showing off your miniatures collection. The channel foam is as efficient a use of space as possible, allowing you to store more models more safely than any other case. Have a look at the images or check out the video in the tab to the right to to get a taste for just how life-changingly excellent these cases are - you won’t be able to work out how you lived without them. It’s ok. Those dark times are over now.

We know that you want the best protection for your miniatures - the foam inside the case is slightly larger than the case itself, and will compress around the figures when closed, ensuring a minimum of movement for any miniature.. It also has nylon catches, so if you should drop it the catches won’t break. To ensure the robustness of the stress points, a metal hinge runs along the back, strengthening and adding a reassuring weightiness.

We’ve put a lot of effort and research into making the case as comfortable as possible to transport, with ergonomically-designed handles for maximum grip - and the lid locks open, meaning no terrible accidents crushing your beloved miniatures on the gaming table. The Citadel Crusade Figure Case also comes with a padded shoulder strap, making it even easier to transport.

  • Cruel Seas IJN Fleet

    Cruel Seas IJN Fleet

Between the wars Japan reassessed its position with its navy, building the world’s first purpose-built aircraft carrier, the Hosho in 1921 and inventing its deadly fast and powerful type 93 24’’ oxygen fuelled torpedoes. They also decided that as their industrial might could not match that of the west, then they would have to have sharp, training tactics and a crew of superior quality to their foe, and for a while, achieved just this.

Their battleships and cruisers were of excellent quality and their growing fleet or aircraft carriers would, after Pearl Harbor, give them the edge in the opening phase of the Pacific War. Excellent training, use of the Long Lance torpedoes and aggressive use of nighttime fast attacks with their destroyers also gave the allies a bloody nose before they learned to counter these attacks.

    Imperial Japanese Navy Fleet

Cruel Seas focuses on the cat and mouse hunts that happened nightly in the Philippines, Guadalcanal and the Solomon’s. They could be IJN sub chasers stalking a crippled US submarine, or mine layers playing their trade at night. Most commonly it will be Japanese barge convoys defending themselves in shallow water against rapacious PT boats. Turning the tables, a late war game could be played out with American landing ships and the terrifying Shin’yo Kamikaze craft.

The IJN, therefore, is an interesting mixture of the very sophisticated and the very amateur, boldness being a connecting factor whether in battleships or tiny craft. It is a do or die force, get in close and things will go well, dither or maintain the range of the allied technology and firepower will overreach you.

  • Cruel Seas Soviet Bronekrater pr.1125

A most peculiar type of riverine and estuary craft was also developed by the Russians. This was the 1124 and 1125 class of armoured rivercraft or Bronekater. These shallow draught craft, drawing only 2-foot of water, could penetrate river systems and lakes, even being moved by rail and lorry to new locations. Some featured numerous armoured turrets, even T-34 tank turrets, and again, frequently equipped themselves with rails for the Katyusha launchers. They were tough little boats capable of receiving and dishing out punishment, though they had a small crew and were slow and poor deep watercraft.

Although not many D-3s served in the Black Sea they were quite active, sinking German Barges and an Italian midget submarine. A most notable action was the sinking of the Elbing-class large torpedo boat T-31 in the Battle of Nerva Island.

  • Duel In The Sun - Bolt Action Theatre Book

The heat builds up as we go from one theatre with extreme conditions to another, this time desert warfare in the African and Italian campaigns.

Packed with explosive action from the initial clashes between the British and Italian armies in Libya, and Britain’s first unexpected victories, through the ill-fated British expedition to protect Greece from Hitler’s invading troops, and the subsequent desperate battles of British and Commonwealth forces in Crete against determined German paratroopers.

From there we move onto the epic tank duels in the deserts of North Africa as Hitler reinforced Mussolini’s battered forces with the deadly Afrika Korps, and the ultimate showdown between two legendary desert commanders, Rommel and Montgomery, at El Alamein.

We then have the debut of the Americans into the African theatre, their bloody setback at Kasserine Pass, and eventual success in helping to clear North Africa of Axis influence. Finishing with the Allied invasions of Sicily and mainland Italy, and the stubborn German defence that resisted the invaders almost up to the end of the war in Europe.

  • Finnish Rifle Squad

The vast Soviet military machine that invaded Finland during the Winter War of 1939-1940 was stunned by the lightly armed but intensely motivated and skilled Finnish troops. The Soviets were outfought despite hugely superior weight of numbers. Although eventually seeking terms the Finns had delivered a harsh lesson to their rapacioius neighbours.

When the Soviet Union - having by then joined the Allies - again attacked in 1941, the Finns were left with little option but to side with Germany in a conflict known as the Continuation War, making good use of German weaponry.

The Finns were masters of fieldcraft, sniping, and small unit tactics that hit hard then disappeared into the dense forests. Their weapons were light but used with great dexterity, and many made use of captured Russian kit as there was always plenty left behind after the Finns had struck!

These miniatures are mostly dressed in standard issue M36 tunic and armed with a variety of Finnish weaponry and so are most suitable for use in Continuation War (1941-1944) against the might of the Soviet Union. Dig in and stop the arrogant Russians marching into brave Finland!

NCO and 1 soldier with SMGs

  • Flesh-Eater Courts: Cryptguard

The Cryptguard are ghouls of uncommon tenacity and worth, elevated to an elite station by performing some great feat of endurance in the sight of their vampiric liege. Charged with protecting their unholy masters, these faithful mordants wield weapons gifted from the royal armoury – rusted, gore-caked blades, soaked in decades of maddening energies and infectious filth.

This multipart plastic kit builds 10 Cryptguard, devoted ghoul retainers for the nobility of the Flesh-eater Courts. The Cryptguard carry a variety of cursed weapons into battle – you can outfit each ghoul with a chipped and battered sword, or a long-handled and well-worn halberd. The kit also provides components to build a drummer musician, a standard bearer waving a flag of flayed skin, and a Crypt Captain champion with uniquely grisly headgear.

The kit includes plenty of cosmetic options to help you assemble a truly varied horde of ferocious ghouls. You'll find a variety of alternative arms and armaments, as well as loads of interchangeable heads – each more gruesome than the last.

This kit contains 100 plastic components, and 10x Citadel 25mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

  • Flesh-Eater Courts: Ushoran Mortarch Of Delusion

Ushoran is an ancient and monstrous lord, one of the very first vampires, and stands amongst the most dreaded of Nagash’s Mortarch lieutenants. He is the Carrion King, the Lord of Masks, the Master of Feasts, the Mortarch of Delusion, and many titles besides. He is the father of abhorrants, and the origin of the accursed delusions that envelop the Flesh-eater Courts. His very presence can reduce mortals to slavering insanity and escalate the mania of his ghoul servants to terrifying heights, even as their king annihilates foes with truly monstrous strength.

This multipart plastic kit builds Ushoran, the Mortarch of Delusion, the vampiric fountainhead of the Flesh-eater Courts. He's a towering figure, even when hunched over as if to greet a courtier – or personally destroy a smaller foe. Ushoran is clad in the finest royal regalia his ghoul servants can scavenge, from corroded jewellery and ragged robes to a fur cloak of nightshrieker pelts, and a crown of bone extends directly from his skull – a gift from his old master, Nagash.

In battle, the Carrion King swings his royal sceptre like a massive, gore-streaked club, and in less lucid moments uses his monstrous claws and fangs to tear offenders limb from limb. The chalice that hangs at his waist grants Ushoran even greater reserves of vampiric resilience, and ghouls across the realms fight for the chance to drink from its bloody contents.

The Mortarch of Delusion is the capstone of any Flesh-eater Courts collection, and a fitting centrepiece to even the largest of ghoulish armies. Whether you want to spread madness across the Mortal Realms or paint a stunning display piece for your shelves, Ushoran is a royal fit for the role.

This kit contains 61 plastic components and comes with a Citadel 130mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
