Beasts of Chaos

Beasts of Chaos

The earth trembles as the beastherds approach. Plants wither and rot, animals are filled with an instinctual fear and the air grows thick with the taint of raw Chaos energy. Then the bloodthirsty braying begins. The Beasts of Chaos emerge from woodland knots and rocky outcrops, bellowing their savage battle cries as they fall upon their prey. They are the true children of Chaos, and through them anarchy and ruin are spread across the lands of the civilised races.

  • Battletome: Beasts Of Chaos

    The Beasts of Chaos are the purest embodiment of primeval violence. These braying killers surge out from their wilderness lairs in vast herds, intent on carnage and desecration. Ever since the dawn of the Mortal Realms, they have stalked their most remote regions, butchering anyone foolish enough to trespass on their territory. Monstrous hybrids of man and animal, they consider themselves the true children of Chaos, fuelled by ferocious instincts and a deep-seated hatred of civilisation. When roused to war, they stampede across the lands, grinding cities and fortresses alike to rubble beneath their hooves.

    This book offers all the knowledge and rules you need to command your own beastherd in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Discover the twisted history of the Beasts of Chaos from the Age of Myth through to the Era of the Beast, where their savagery is once again spreading through the Mortal Realms, leaving only a wilderness of brutal survival in their wake.

    - Primaeval Origins: the Beasts of Chaos pre-date even the earliest records by any scribe, and the oral traditions describing them have long faded into memory – but legends persist, and are presented here;
    - The True Children of Chaos: Beasts of Chaos’ inherent ferocity is not a gift bestowed by the Dark Gods, and nor is it due to enslavement – they embody Chaos in its purest and most anarchic form;
    - The Way of the Beast: while the Beasts of Chaos are as varied as the wildlands in which they gather, certain traits – violence, mercilessness and predation – are common to all;
    - Detailed explanations of the Greatfrays and beastherds of this faction, their motivations and (known) histories; - Annals of Entropy: a chronicle of the recorded events in which the full savagery and fury of the Beasts of Chaos was unleashed;

  • Chaos Spawn (2 Plastic Models)

    The outward appearance of a Warhammer Chaos Spawn is utterly unpredictable. No two are exactly alike, and their make-up owes as much to the random whims of the gods as it does physical suitability. A Warhammer Spawn may have several sets of limbs, bizarre attributes like crab claws, a chitinous carapace, tattered and useless wings, clumps of eyestalks that wave like grass in a wind, a sinewy prehensile neck, or a gaping maw of needle-thin teeth.

    This box set contains two plastic Warhammer Chaos Spawn with a multitude of mutations.

  • Chaotic Beasts

    Furies are spiteful daemonic imps that throng lands under the sway of Chaos, swarming weakened victims in opportunistic hit-and-run attacks, while Raptoryx are vicious and ill-tempered beasts that cross the land in vast flocks, pulling down prey many times their size in a frenzy of talons and beaks.

    This multipart plastic kit builds a flock of Furies and Raptoyrx – corrupted chaotic beasts that can be fielded in Slaves to Darkness armies in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, or used as Thralls for Chaos warbands in games of Warcry. Sneering Furies glide on bat-like wings, manes whipping in the wind as they brandish razor-sharp daggers in their clawed paws. • Chimera (Warhammer Fantasy)

    The three-headed Chimera is one of the most fearsome of all the children of Chaos, a beast whose progenitors were so warped that it is now impossible to say what manner of creatures they might have been. Regardless of their exact form, all Chimerae share a savage and unpredictable nature that makes them easily the worst of all chance encounters. Due to their varied ancestry, Chimerae come in many shapes and forms, manifesting unusual attacks that can catch an enemy off guard. Whether they die by fiery breath or poisonous claw, it's unlikely that an enemy will get to appreciate these subtle differences before they are torn limb from limb, crushed alive, or burnt to a crisp by the rampaging monster in front of them.

    This multipart plastic kit contains one Chimera - a finely detailed kit that comes in 23 components, and is supplied with a 120mm oval base. This kit comes supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

Rowdy and undisciplined, they bray, bark and bawl an unceasing cacophony that fills the hearts of men with dread.

    This box set contains 10 multi-part plastic Gors. This 74-piece set includes 10 different bodies, 12 variations of shield and a selection of hand weapons and heads. Also included are all of the components needed to assemble a brayhorn, a banner bearer and a foe-render.

  • Mindstealer Sphiranx

    Mindstealer Sphiranxes are powerful and sinister telepaths. Once denizens of Hysh and allies of its archmage rulers, avarice and bitterness led them to strike a foul bargain that saw them banished to the ranks of the Dark Powers. This multipart plastic kit builds one Mindstealer Sphiranx – a hypnotic horror that can be fielded in Slaves to Darkness armies in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, or used as an Ally for Chaos warbands in games of Warcry. This looming leonine creature towers over its weak-minded prey, a mystical third eye blazing on its brow. It comes with a choice of two heads and two styles of horn, allowing you to field multiple Mindstealer Sphiranxes in the same force while ensuring no two look alike.
