The Diogenes Frigate is one of the fastest ships on the ocean, able to skim underwater just below the waves to reach its destination, often before an opposing commander is aware of its approach. Their upper hull design is rounded, giving a low silhouette and making it harder to directly hit. The Diogenes does lack a fore turret, but its broadsides are comparable with any ship in its class and the fore torpedoes have the potential to dent any ship with limited concussion charges.
