The rules have seen some significant changes, designed to make Warhammer, well...simply more fun!! Among the many changes are:

Charge distance for infantry is now the standard unit movement value + 2D6"

Power dice are generated using 2D6 per turn.

The 2nd rank gets supporting attacks and in some circumstances the 3rd rank also.

Simplified movement.

Archers get the "volley fire" special rule which means multiple ranks can fire.

March blocking can be overcome by passing a leadership test.
