  • Contemptor Dreadnought Weapons Frame 2

The Contemptor Dreadnought is a fusion of traditional technologies and arcane cybernetic lore, its impressive speed and strength fuelled by the powerful atomantic reactor that also supplies the defensive energy fields which further increase its durability. Though the Contemptor can be armed for a variety of battlefield roles, many Legion commanders prefer to specialise the walker's arsenal – equipping it with a pair of devastating heavy weapons particularly suited to eliminating enemy tanks, chewing through elite infantry, or shredding lightly-armoured foes.

This plastic upgrade kit provides an extra set of ranged weapons for your Contemptor Dreadnought, allowing you to specialise its loadout with a pair of identical arm-mounted ranged weapons. The kit includes the components to build four different heavy weapons – a conversion beam cannon, Gravis plasma cannon, Kheres assault cannon, and volkite dual-culverin – each of which can be mounted on either of your Contemptor's arms. It also contains an additional right-handed melee fist, which can be built as either a Gravis power fist or Gravis chain fist, and sports your choice of in-built weapon – a combi-bolter, graviton gun, heavy flamer, meltagun, or plasma blaster. The kit also provides a number of extra components – a helical targeting array, a spare chainfist blade, three chest plates, an alternate head, a choice of power fist digits, and accessories representing scrollwork or decorative shields.

This upgrade kit comprises 57 plastic components and is designed to be assembled with the Contemptor Dreadnought set, which is sold separately. These components are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

One of the first issued Tactical Dreadnought Armour patterns, Cataphractii suits are heavily protected with slablike ceramite pauldrons housing additional shield generators, augmenting the toughness of even a Legiones Astartes warrior. At the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, all Legions maintained significant numbers of Cataphractii Terminators among their ranks.

This multipart plastic kit builds six Cataphractii Terminators, elite heavy assault infantry for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Armed with combi-bolters and power fists, they wade through a hail of enemy fire to take on their foes at close range, making them ideal for leading a slow and purposeful advance.

One of the miniatures can be built as an optional sergeant, armed with a choice of power sword, power axe, or thunder hammer, and equipped with one of three shoulder crests or an optional grenade harness. • Horus Heresy: MKII Tactical Squad

Tactical squads are the mainstay of the Space Marine Legions and the force by which the Great Crusade reconquered much of the galaxy. As a highly flexible unit, they are efficient in attack or defence, can assault fortified positions, take and hold strategic objectives, and reliably operate in any terrain or situation.

When first created, Mark II ‘Crusade’ armour was the epitome of Space Marine technology – a void-sealed, radiation-shielded suit of battle plate able to withstand an unprecedented degree of punishment. Despite its age, it was still used extensively when the Horus Heresy broke out.

This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Space Marines Legionaries for use as a Tactical Squad in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They are ideal for holding key objectives, gunning down enemy units with volleys of bolter fire, and reinforcing front lines to turn the tide of battle.

This kit can build one large unit, or two smaller units of 10, each with its own optional Sergeant, Legionary with nuncio-vox, and Legionary with vexilla. The Sergeant has a choice of three heads – two bare, and one helmeted with a transverse crest. He can be armed with a bolter or a plasma pistol, and a power sword, power fist, or lightning claw. He can also take an optional melta bomb. The Legionaries with bolters can take an optional bayonet or chain bayonet, and the heads and accessories – including grenades, pistol holsters, and pouches – are interchangeable across the miniatures.

These miniatures can also be used to represent:
    – Veteran Tactical Squad
    – Tactical Support Squad (with the Special Weapons Upgrade Set, available separately)
    – Heavy Support Squad (with a Heavy Weapons Upgrade Set, available separately)
    – Praetorian Command Squad or Centurion Command Squad (with the Legion Command Upgrade Set, available separately)
    – Despoiler Squad (with the Melee Weapons Upgrade Set, available separately)

These miniatures have no Legion-specific markings, so you can use them in any Space Marines force, whether you're loyal to the Emperor or have joined Horus in his rebellion.

This kit comprises 344 plastic components, 20x Citadel 32mm Round Bases, and 1x Horus Heresy Legion Infantry Transfer Sheet containing 618 high-quality waterslide transfers – featuring Legion iconography for the Sons of Horus, Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors, and Salamanders – to decorate your miniatures.

  • Horus Heresy: Solar Auxilia Aethon Heavy Sentinel

Aethon Heavy Sentinels are a common sight among the ranks of the Solar Auxilia and are most often piloted by grizzled veterans adept at identifying key enemy targets. These robust machines are able to traverse void station interiors and ruined cityscapes with ease, often forming the lynchpin around which many a successful close-quarters assault has swung.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Aethon Heavy Sentinel, an armoured combat walker for the Solar Auxilia. The Sentinel comes with an arsenal of heavy weaponry, and can be armed with one of six dorsal guns – a volkite culverin, autocannon, heavy incinerator, lascannon, multi-laser, or a melta lance. It also features paired ordnance systems on its sides – either an Aethon missile battery, or a set of four hunter-killer missiles.

The Aethon Heavy Sentinel's weapon mounts allow for glueless assembly, so you can adjust their positions mid-game. Its legs can also be assembled in different poses to add variety and character to your squadrons – an adventurous hobbyist can even remove the pegs, for full poseability on every leg-joint!

This kit comprises 75 plastic components, a Citadel 80mm Round Base, and a Solar Auxilia Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 180 high-quality waterslide transfers. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

  • Horus Heresy: Solar Auxilia Dracosan Armoured Transport

The Dracosan Armoured Transport is a heavily armed personnel carrier, manufactured to the highest standards and configured with systems that allow the Solar Auxilia to traverse the most hazardous battlezones. The Dracosan is large enough to accommodate a full strength section of 20 Solar Auxilia infantry, protecting them from all but the most intense enemy fire while using its own weaponry to pound enemy positions to dust.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Dracosan Armoured Transport, a bulky Solar Auxilia troop conveyer. This huge vehicle is loaded with protective plating and environmental systems to keep its cargo alive, and features a heavily-armoured access door on both sides. The Dracosan's hull supports one of two weapons, allowing it to support your infantry even after delivering them to the front lines – a heavy lascannon for picking off enemy armour, or an explosive demolisher cannon to make short work of bunkers.

The kit includes components to upgrade your Dracosan Armoured Transport with hunter-killer missiles, a flare shield, and a dozer blade. The rear hatch can be built with closed doors, or opened for a Solar Auxilia gunner with a pintle-mounted weapon – a heavy flamer, multi-laser, or heavy stubber. You'll also find plenty of cosmetic options, such as sigils, armour patches, a spotter, and a choice of crew heads.

This kit comprises 154 plastic components, as well as a Solar Auxilia Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 180 high-quality waterslide transfers. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

  • Horus Heresy: Solar Auxilia Hermes Sentinel Squadron

Hermes Sentinels are employed as scout walkers and mobile fire platforms by the Solar Auxilia. Fast-moving squadrons of Light Sentinels can strike at enemy formations and disengage before significant resistance is brought to bear, while more heavily-armoured Veletaris Sentinels support aggressive frontal assaults by pressuring the target's vulnerable flanks.

This multipart plastic kit builds two Hermes Light Sentinels or Hermes Veletaris Sentinels – swift combat walkers for the Solar Auxilia. Each Hermes Light Sentinel is ridden by a pilot in void armour, and can be armed with either a multi-laser or a grenade launcher. The Hermes Veletaris Sentinels are piloted by elite Veletaris soldiers in reinforced armour, and feature additional plating on their legs and sides – they can be armed with a heavy flamer or a volkite caliver.

Both styles of pilot have poseable heads, and each Sentinel's legs can be assembled in different poses to add variety and character to your squadrons. An adventurous hobbyist can even remove the pegs, for full poseability on every leg-joint!

This kit comprises 110 plastic components, 2x Citadel 60mm Round Bases, and a Solar Auxilia Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 180 high-quality waterslide transfers. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

  • Horus Heresy: Solar Auxilia: Combat Force

The Solar Auxilia is an elite fighting force that relies on the weight of numbers, both in infantry and heavy armour assets, to grind their opponents down. Their equipment and fittings are as well suited to fighting in the void of space as they are on planet surfaces, fully sealed against the environment, no matter how harsh.

If you want to hold the line to protect the Emperor or join the march to overthrow him, this box is the perfect way to start a new Solar Auxilia collection – or expand an existing army – and save money compared to buying the kits individually. You'll find a Lasrifle Section, excellent at holding objectives and controlling the battlefield with numbers. A Tactical Command Section leads them into battle while speedy Hermes Sentinels outflank the enemy. A mighty Leman Russ Strike Tank provides the heavy firepower, forcing your foes to keep their heads down with constant barrages.

This boxed set builds 28 multipart plastic miniatures:
    – 1x Leman Russ Strike Tank
    – 2x Hermes Light Sentinels (which can alternatively be built as Hermes Veletaris Sentinels)
    – 5x Tactical Command Section members (which can alternatively be built as a Legatine Command Section or Line Command Section)
    – 20x Lasrifle Section Auxiliaries

The miniatures in this kit are easy to customise. The Lasrifle Section miniatures can be fielded as one large unit, or two smaller ones of 10 Auxiliaries, each with their own optional Auxilia Sergeant, Auxiliary with vox interlock, and Auxiliary with auxilia vexilla. The Sergeants can be armed with your choice of laspistol, blast pistol, needle pistol, volkite serpenta, plasma pistol, or hand flamer, and a power fist, power sword, or charnabal sabre. Each Auxiliary's lasrifle can be upgraded with an optional bayonet.

The Tactical Command Section builds an Auxilia Captain, armed with your choice of laspistol, blast pistol, needle pistol, volkite serpenta, plasma pistol, or hand flamer, and power fist, power sword, or charnabal sabre. The rest of the squad have options to take a command vox, augury scanner, and cohorts vexilla. They can also be used as a Line Command Section or Legatine Command Section, whose Legate Marshal can be armed with volkite serpenta, inferno pistol, archaeotech pistol, laspistol, blast pistol, needle pistol, plasma pistol, or hand flamer, and a thunder hammer, paragon blade, power fist, power sword, or charnabal sabre.

The Hermes Light Sentinels can each be armed with either a multi-laser or a Hermes grenade launcher. They can alternatively be built as Hermes Veletaris Sentinels with additional armour and your choice of heavy flamer or a volkite caliver.

The Leman Russ Strike Tank can be armed with one of four turret weapons – a battlecannon, twin lascannon, gravis autocannon, or vanquisher cannon with a co-axial mounted heavy stubber. You can also choose from five different hull-mounted weapons – a heavy bolter, lascannon, autocannon, multi-laser, or heavy flamer. There's an optional hunter-killer missile, searchlights, and dozer blade, along with a pintle-mounted heavy flamer, multi-laser, or heavy stubber. There is also a cognis-signum to upgrade to a Command Tank, and an optional flare shield if you choose to do so.

This kit comprises 790 plastic components, 2x Citadel 60mm Round Bases, 25x Citadel 25mm Round Bases, 2x Solar Auxilia Infantry Transfer Sheets each containing 152 high-quality waterslide transfers, and 2x Solar Auxilia Vehicle Transfer Sheets each containing 180 high-quality waterslide transfers to customise your miniatures.

  • Legion Astartes: Kratos Heavy Assault Tank

The Kratos Heavy Assault Tank is based on an Ancient Terran pattern fielded during the Unification of Old Earth, redesigned after the Emperor's treaty with the Lords of Mars to serve as the spearhead of the Great Crusade, a line-breaker and foe hammer. This grinding battle tank is all but impervious to enemy fire, and its steady, inexorable advance provides an indomitable core to any assault by the Legiones Astartes, enforced by a barrage of overwhelming firepower.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Kratos Heavy Assault Tank, a nigh-impenetrable war machine bristling with heavy armaments. This impressive vehicle can be built with one of three powerful turret weapons – the versatile Kratos battlecannon, tank-busting melta blast-gun, or searing volkite cardanelle. It also sports a co-axial autocannon, a pair of hull-mounted guns – autocannons, heavy bolters, lascannons, or volkite calivers – and a separate pair of sponson weapons – heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins.

The kit also includes components to upgrade the Kratos Heavy Assault Tank with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a dozer blade, a hunter-killer missile, and a number of cosmetic options, such as towing hooks and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

This model has no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint it in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This kit comprises 233 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of this model in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.

  • Legiones Astartes: Cerberus Heavy Tank

The Cerberus is a rare variant of the Spartan chassis that uses its massive hull to mount a prototype neutron laser projector, as well as the sizable arc-reactors and radiation shielding needed to operate the weapon. The neutron laser is poorly understood by the adepts of the Mechanicum, but stands among the most effective anti-tank weapons available to the Space Marine Legions, capable of punching through the strongest plating and shorting out its target’s systems with bursts of radiation. The terrible toll the Cerberus takes on its crew is regarded by many commanders as a necessary cost, for this impressive tank can threaten even Titan-class opponents.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Legion Cerberus, a massive tank capable of laying waste to the largest of targets. Its armoured hull is dominated by the triple-barreled neutron laser battery that gives the tank its name, but you’ll also find loads of options for auxiliary weapons. The Cerberus sports a pair of sponson-mounted weapons – your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins, which can be assembled gluelessly to adjust their positioning as you see fit.

The kit also includes components to upgrade the Cerberus with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and cosmetic options such as towing hooks, icons for Loyalists and Traitors, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

This kit comprises 221 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

  • Legiones Astartes: Maximus Battle Group

Many of the Legiones Astartes make heavy use of MkIV 'Maximus' power armour. The most visibly distinct details of this mark of armour are the separated, squared knee pads, thin-trimmed shoulder pads, and helmets with long, broad face guards with slanting vents.

    A Balanced Force

This loaded box is ideal for starting a new Legiones Astartes collection – or expanding an existing army – to take the battle to your enemies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, and it saves money compared to buying the kits separately. This force is built around a core of MkIV Tactical Legionaries and MkIV Assault Legionaries, and supported by a mighty Sicaran Battle Tank and a Contemptor Dreadnought. When taken together, they are a versatile and balanced army.

This boxed set builds 32 multipart plastic Legiones Astartes miniatures:
    – 20 MkIV Tactical Legionaries
    – 2 Horus Heresy Tactical Marine accessory frames
    – 10 MkIV Assault Legionaries
    – 1 Sicaran Battle Tank
    – 1 Contemptor Dreadnought

The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The MkIV Tactical Squad kit allows you to build up to two Sergeants, each armed with a plasma pistol, and either a power fist, lightning claw, or power sword. 2 of them can be built with a nuncio-vox, and another 2 with a back-mounted Vexilla. You'll find 20 interchangeable helmeted heads, 12 bare heads, and 36 shoulder pads, and the kit is compatible with the Horus Heresy Tactical Marine accessory frame. The kit can alternatively build a Veteran Tactical Squad.

The MkIV Assault Squad includes parts to build a Sergeant with either 2 power fists, 2 power claws, or a power fist or claw and a bolt pistol. The kit includes interchangeable components: 10 helmeted heads, 2 bare heads, 18 shoulder pads, 10 power lance upgrades, and 15 accessories.

The Sicaran Battle Tank is equipped with turret-mounted accelerator autocannons, a hull-mounted heavy bolter, and a pair of sponson weapons – your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins. The kit includes components to upgrade this vehicle with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and cosmetic options such as towing hooks, a dozer blade, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

The Contemptor Dreadnought includes 8 different ranged weapons to choose from – a conversion beam cannon, Gravis autocannon, Gravis bolt cannon, Gravis lascannon, Gravis melta cannon, Gravis plasma cannon, Kheres assault cannon, and volkite dual-culverin – each of which can be mounted on either of the Contemptor's arms. The kit also includes two melee fists, each of which can be built as either a Gravis power fist or Gravis chainfist, and sports your choice of in-built weapon – a combi-bolter, graviton gun, heavy flamer, meltagun, or plasma blaster. The miniature can even be built with a hull-mounted havoc launcher or head-mounted helical targeting array. You'll also find a variety of alternate components and cosmetic options, including two heads, four different carapace designs, a choice of claws or fingers for the power fists, and scrollwork and tilting shield accessories.

These miniatures have no Legion-specific markings, so you can use them in any Legiones Astartes force, whether you're loyal to the Emperor or have joined Horus in his rebellion.

    Contents:
    – 918 plastic components

  • Legiones Astartes: Multi-Meltas+Plasma Cannons

Heavy Support Squads provide the Legiones Astartes with mobile, infantry-portable firepower sufficient to bring down hordes of enemy troops or smash armoured vehicles apart with withering hails of fire, combining devastating armaments with all the flexibility of a footsoldier. Heavy flamers project a roaring torrent of burning promethium capable of incinerating infantry and flushing foes from cover, while multi-meltas reduce enemy tanks to molten slag with a flash of energy, and plasma cannons unleash volatile blasts of superheated matter.

This plastic upgrade kit can be used to equip Legionaries from the MKVI Tactical Squad set with powerful heavy weapons, suitable for use in a Legion Heavy Support Squad. The kit includes 10 heavy flamers, 10 multi-meltas, and 10 shoulder-mounted plasma cannons, along with arms suited to each weapon, allowing you to upgrade up to three Heavy Support Squads of 10 models, or six units of five models. Also included are four augury scanners which can be carried alongside a heavy weapon, allowing your Heavy Support Squads to detect and eliminate enemy units.

  • Legiones Astartes: Spartan Assault Tank

The Spartan Assault Tank is a huge armoured conveyer, designed to bear a great contingent of troops into the heart of enemy lines, weathering weapons fire that would be the death of any lesser vehicle. Protected by a sealed shell of legendarily durable plating, the Spartan's carrying capacity exceeds anything but a true super-heavy transporter, while retaining an impressive speed across the battlefield. Its quad lascannons make the Spartan a fearsome tank destroyer, while its secondary armaments allow it to sweep infantry from its path. The Spartan takes pride of place in the armouries of many Legions, its presence limited only by its sheer scale.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Spartan Assault Tank, an imposing and indomitable transport vehicle. The Spartan is armed with two sponson-mounted lascannon arrays, as well as a twin-linked hull-mounted weapon – your choice of heavy bolter, heavy flamer, or lascannon. Both the sponsons and the front transport ramp can be assembled gluelessly, allowing you to adjust their positioning and expose the Spartan's detailed internal bay as you see fit. The kit also includes components to upgrade the Spartan with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and cosmetic options such as towing hooks, a dozer blade, icons for Loyalists and Traitors, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

  • Legiones Astartes: Typhon Heavy Siege Tank

The Typhon is named for the ‘Great Beast’ of Terran myth, and lives up to its namesake in sheer brutal strength. Sharing a basic chassis with the Spartan Assault Tank, this heavy tank serves as a mobile gun-platform with enough power to operate a single massive piece of siege artillery – the dreadhammer cannon. The Typhon was created to meet the demands of the Primarch Perturabo of the Iron Warriors, who sought a war engine that could rapidly deploy such fortress-breaking firepower to the battle line alongside his Legionaries. Though unsubtle in design, its overwhelming effectiveness is beyond question.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Typhon Heavy Siege Tank, an armoured tank with a truly massive cannon. This formidable vehicle's primary armament is the dreadhammer siege cannon, a centreline-mounted weapon capable of cracking bunkers, smashing enemy engines, and pulping whole squads. In addition to its main gun, the Typhon also sports a pair of sponson weapons – your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins. Both the siege cannon and sponsons can be assembled without glue, allowing you to adjust their positioning mid-battle.

The kit also includes components to upgrade the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank with a pintle-mounted weapon – a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and a number of cosmetic options, such as towing hooks, sigils, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

This kit comprises 221 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. • Leviathan Siege Dreadnought With Claws/Drills

Heavily-armed and impressively armoured, the Leviathan Siege Dreadnought is an alternative development of the highly successful Contemptor design. These rare and mighty engines are prized by Astartes commanders, recognised as savagely powerful siege and hunter-killer units that can crush any opposition with an unstoppable wrecking charge. Yet such overwhelming strength comes at a cost – a Leviathan's systems place an onerous and ultimately lethal strain upon its occupant, the entombed incumbent burning brightly but only briefly in their second life.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Leviathan Siege Dreadnought, an intimidating armoured walker equipped with deadly melee weapons. Each of the Leviathan's mechanical fists are armed with a built-in meltagun, and can be assembled as either a crushing siege claw or grinding siege drill, with individually posable digits. The Dreadnought's torso houses a pair of additional weapons – your choice of heavy flamers or twin-linked volkite calivers – and it can also be armed with an optional hull-mounted phosphex discharger. This impressively customisable kit includes a choice of three different chest plates, two different cowls, and three different groin armour plates. The Dreadnought's joints and head can all be positioned separately for a range of poses, with alternate cables for different arm poses, and foot options to give the appearance of stomping forward or planting its feet to receive a charge.

This kit comprises 153 plastic components and is supplied with a Citadel 80mm Round Base, as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

This kit is compatible with the Leviathan Dreadnought Ranged Weapons Frame, allowing you to outfit your Dreadnought with a variety of powerful heavy munitions.

  • Mechanicum: Castellax Battle-Automata Maniple

The Castellax Battle-automata are general purpose combat robots, developed from older designs during the Great Crusade. Primarily intended for siege work and shock assaults, these terrifying, humanoid machines stand three times the height of a man, with notoriously aggressive and responsive machine spirits. The Castellax class is a mainstay of both the Legio Cybernetica and the elite defensive formations of many forge worlds, who rely on its formidable power, armoured endoskeleton, and atomantic shielding technology for their protection.

This multipart plastic kit builds two Castellax Battle-automata, core constructs of the Mechanicum in the age of the Horus Heresy. Each Castellax Battle-automata can be equipped with a pair of claw-like shock charges, or one may be equipped with circular power blades, and each may equip a choice of in-built bolters or flamers for either weapon. The kit also contains a choice of shoulder-mounted weapon options – you'll find two mauler bolt cannons, as well as a darkfire cannon and a multi-melta.

You can further customise your mechanical monsters with a choice of three different arm joints for each automaton, plus joints in their waist and shoulders, allowing you to create a variety of poses. Should you choose to arm your automata with shock chargers, you can choose to have their claws gripped shut, or open and ready to grab the enemy.

  • Mechanicum: Skitarii Battle Group

The bulk of the nomadic contingents of the Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms are bound together as conclaves. Attuned to an unnaturally long existence of unceasing pilgrimage and war, they care little for the comforts of civil life, nor do they possess aspiration to ascend through ranks or hierarchy. Instead, they are singularly focused on the defence of the domains of the Omnissiah and the acquisition of lost technology, to prevent it from falling into the hands of the unworthy.

If you want to claim the galaxy in the name of the Omnissiah (whether you believe that to be the Emperor or not), this box is the perfect way to start a new Mechanicum collection – or expand an existing army – and save money compared to buying the kits individually. Based around a core of Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms armed with voltlock arquebuses and equipped with extended leg augmetics, they are fast and hit hard. Led by a Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Marshal, a veteran warrior with specialised equipment, and supported by an airbourne Skitarii Vultarax Stratos-Automata, they are ready to take the fight to the enemies of the Mechanicum. It's the first place you'll be able to get your hands on these new miniatures.

This boxed set builds 18 multipart plastic Mechanicum miniatures:
    – 1x Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Marshal
    – 1x Vultarax Stratos-Automata
    – 16x Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Corpus miniatures

The miniatures in this kit are easy to customise. The Battle-Pilgrym Marshal has a choice of three heads and can be armed with a voltlock handgun or an archeotech pistol, and a phase claw, a corpusant stave, or an auctorit sceptre.

The Vultarax Stratos-Automata has two tendrils, each with three slots, from which it can choose three different dendrite talon designs that are shared across both tendrils.

Up to two of the Battle-Pilgryms can be built as squad leaders. Each of the Battle-Pilgryms has a choice of two heads – helmeted or bare.

This kit is supplied with 1x Mechanicum Macro Constructs Transfer sheet, containing 394 high quality waterslide transfers. These include symbols for Opus Machina, Opus Taghmata, Iungum Cybernetica, Covenant Cybernetica, and Fracta Aedificium, along with other lines, markings, and cogs to decorate your miniatures.

This kit comprises 313 plastic components, 1x Citadel 32mm Round Base, 1x Citadel 100mm Round Base, 20x Citadel 28.5mm Round Bases, and 1x Citadel 115mm Ball Stem Adaptor. • Mechanicum: Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Corpus

The Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms are bound together as conclaves, and each of these war formations is led by an ordinator, an individual through which the will of the marshal is conducted. They are singularly focused on the defence of the domains of the Omnissiah and the acquisition of lost technology, to prevent it from falling into the hands of the unworthy.

This multipart plastic kit builds 16 Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms, fast infantry for your Skitarii Conclave armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Each equipped with a voltlock arquebus, they are prepared to take on even the toughest enemy infantry. Their augmentations and armour make them difficult to kill, resulting in a tough, hard-hitting unit.

They can be assembled as one large unit or two units of 8 Battle-Pilgryms, each with their own optional squad leader armed with a voltlock handgun and power sword. There are 16 heads (of 8 designs), which are interchangeable across the miniatures. Two of the models each have a choice of two pieces of rubble to stand on.

These miniatures have no allegiance-specific markings, so you can use them in any Mechanicum force, whether you believe the Emperor to be the true Omnissiah or a false prophet.

  • Mechanicum: Thallax Cohort

The Thallax are hulking, heavily augmented cyborg shock troops originating within the Ordo Reductor faction of the Mechanicum. They are distinguished by the Lorica Thallax which encases their major organs, nervous system, and cerebrum, and entirely replaces the skeleton and limbs with armoured mechanical systems. Carried into battle by their Incunabulan jet packs, the Thallax operate with a surgical lack of emotion, leveraging their remaining capacity for independent thought to destroy the enemies of the Omnissiah.

This multipart plastic kit builds six Thallax, elite bionic destroyers created by the Mechanicum in the age of the Horus Heresy. Each Thallax is armed with a powerful lightning gun, which can be outfitted with a chain bayonet. • Mechanicum: Thanatar Cavas Siege-Automata

The Thanatar Siege-automata is a mobile artillery platform rather than a general battle unit, with a heavy frame built to accommodate its huge weaponry and requisite power systems. The Thanatar-Cavas configuration is armed with a Hellex pattern plasma mortar, a terrifying weapon that launches spheres of plasma into the heart of enemy fortifications. The origins of the Thanatar-Cavas remain uncertain, save that its armament is known to be the product of the forge world of Ryza, the sole locale where Hellex pattern weaponry is produced.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Thanatar-Cavas Siege-automata, a hulking demolisher robot fielded by the Mechanicum in the age of the Horus Heresy. The Thanatar's primary weapon is a huge shoulder-mounted plasma mortar, which can be built with its firing aperture open or closed. Its arms are tipped with claw-like shock chargers, and its left arm also features a wrist-mounted twin mauler bolt cannon.

The kit features plenty of posing options to personalise your Thanatar-Cavas, including joints for the waist and shoulders, three right arm poses, two left arm poses with ammo feeds to match, and the ability to build the shock chargers in different grabbing positions.

This kit contains 175 plastic components and a Citadel 120mm Round Base. This set also includes 1x Mechancium Macro-constructs Transfer Sheet containing 394x high-quality waterslide transfers for you to use to customise your miniatures.

  • Mechanicum: Triaros Armoured Conveyor

The Triaros is the primary armoured battlefield transport of the Mechanicum Taghmata in the Age of Darkness, relying on unique technologies held as arcana by the magos autokrator and never divulged for wider Imperial use, even by the Legiones Astartes. Its galvanic traction drives and hermetically sealed storage bay allow it to operate in hard vacuums and hostile environments, delivering Tech-thralls and even light automata into combat. Layered wardings, interlocking energy shields, and independently animated weapons servitors keep the Triaros protected from harm, while its reactor-fed shock ram can shatter and incinerate whatever it touches.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Triaros Armoured Conveyor, an imposing heavy transport fielded by the Mechanicum in the age of the Horus Heresy. This awesome vehicle features a transport hatch on either side of its hull, with arcane mechanisms visible beneath its armoured frame. Its prow is dominated by a huge shock ram, with a pair of volkite calivers and a double-barrelled mauler bolt cannon mounted to its roof and sides. The rear of the Triaros features its advanced flare shield generators and a servo-guided searchlight, and the kit also contains two optional hunter-killer missiles that can be attached to the hull.

This kit contains 119 plastic components. This set also includes 1x Mechancium Macro-constructs Transfer Sheet containing 394x high-quality waterslide transfers for you to use to customise your miniatures.

  • Mechanicum: Ursarax Cohort

The Ursarax are heavy, rapid-moving close combat killing machines. Like the Thallax, Ursarax are thralls rather than servitors – selected from suitable human candidates for conversion. Their living components retain a consciousness and dim recollection of their former humanity, providing them with superior tactical abilities and the instinct to kill.

This multipart plastic kit builds 6 Ursarax, a terrifying elite melee unit for your Mechanicum armies or as allies in your Legiones Astartes or Solar Auxilia armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Their utan jump boosters make them swift, and their lightning claws and volkite incinerators make them deadly – allowing them to range ahead of your army to disrupt enemy plans. Two of the six may alternatively be built with power fists, making them even more devastating when they get up close and personal.

This kit comprises 262 plastic components and 6x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. This set also includes 1x Mechanicum Constructs Transfer Sheet containing 558 high-quality waterslide transfers to decorate your miniatures.

  • Mechanicum: Vultarax Stratos-Automata

Vultarax automata make use of a complex cortex unit that allows them to control the various gravitic impellers and jets that hold them aloft, and grant them more affinity for independent action. While the Magos of the Mechanicum employ the Vultarax as a forward unit, ranging ahead to engage and harass the foe, those automata they grant the Skitarii Conclaves are employed primarily as scout surveyors. In this secondary role, the Mechanicum permit some Stratos-automata to be retrofitted with additional auspex scanning arrays.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Vultarax Stratos-Automata, a floating weapons platform for your Mechanicum and Skitarii Conclave armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Armed with an arc blaster, Vultarax missile launcher, and dendrite talons, this fast unit is a threat at range and at close quarters. There are a variety of different dendrite talons and tendril designs, offering a degree of customisation.

This miniature has no allegiance-specific markings, so you can use it in any Mechanicum force, whether you believe the Emperor to be the true Omnissiah or a false prophet.

This kit is supplied with 1x Mechanicum Constructs Transfer Sheet, containing 558 high-quality waterslide transfers. These include symbols for Opus Machina, Opus Taghmata, Iungum Cybernetica, Covenant Cybernetica, and Fracta Aedificium, along with other lines, markings, and cogs to decorate your miniatures.

  • Skitarii: Battle-Pilgrym Marshal

Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Marshals are selected from the most compatible, often veteran, ordinators within a particular conclave. They lead the warriors of a battle pilgrimage, acting as both a field commander and representative of the Fabricator General’s authority.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Marshal, an experienced leader for your Skitarii Conclave armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They are formidable warriors in their own right, able to lead a Skitarii force from the front. As befits their position, they have access to the holiest of weaponry. They can be armed with a voltlock handgun or archaeotech pistol, and a phase claw, corposant stave, or auctorit sceptre, giving them the tools to take on any foe. The miniature also comes with two optional servo-skulls and a choice of three heads – hooded, bare, and helmeted with a crest – making it easy to customise your Marshal.

This miniature has no allegiance-specific markings, so you can use it in any Mechanicum force, whether you believe the Emperor to be the true Omnissiah or a false prophet.

  • Skitarii: Myrmidon Destructor Host

Myrmidon Destructors view combat as a method by which they might divine the will of the Omnissiah. However, they do so through the thunder of heavy guns, the blast of plasma, and the searing pulse of rad-flame. For these towering ancients, each salvo is a prayer, and each battle won a humble offering to the Omnissiah. Such is the power of their onslaught that the Magos Militant of a Forge World will go to great lengths to seek out and recruit such warriors when conflict looms and the horns of war sound.

This multipart plastic kit builds six Myrmidon Destructors, elite heavy infantry for your Mechanicum armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They can be equipped with armour-busting darkfire cannons or infantry-melting irradiation engines. When the fighting gets close, they employ their shock chargers to crush their foes. This durable unit is a great way to provide ranged support as it advances alongside the rest of your army. Each Myrmidon Destructor has a choice of two heads – hooded or unhooded – and there are six servo-skulls, which are interchangeable across the miniatures.

These miniatures have no allegiance-specific markings, so you can use them in any Mechanicum force, whether you believe the Emperor to be the true Omnissiah or a false prophet.

  • Solar Auxilia: Charonite Ogryn Section

Charonite Ogryns are biochemically and cybernetically altered abhumans. Mutilated in mind and body, they are creatures of brute obedience and drug-induced frenzy. The difficult and unstable technologies used in their creation were deemed unholy by the Mechanicum and may, in part, have alien origins.

    Augmented Abhumans

This multipart plastic kit builds 4 Charonite Ogryns, ruthless line-breaking infantry for your Solar Auxilia armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Their hands and forearms have been replaced by a brutal collection of weapons that amplify their already fearsome strength, so they can rip through armour plating and flesh with ease. They are ideal for the ferocious close confines of boarding actions or the deadly press of melee, where they easily devastate foes.

    Armed for War

The torsos are interchangeable across the legs in the kit, allowing you to customise your brutes, and 2 of the torsos each have a choice of 2 heads – masked or unmasked – with a choice of 2 faces. You can choose from some suitably terrifying weapons – power armour-breaching claws, horde-slaying blades, tank-busting crushers, or the appropriately named shredders.

    The kit includes interchangeable weapons:
    – 6 Charonite claws (of 3 designs)
    – 2 Charonite blades
    – 2 Charonite crushers
    – 2 Charonite shredders

Each of these brutal implements can be grafted onto the left or right arm of your Ogryns. One of the claw designs can be assembled open or closed, and the crushers each have a choice of crushing device.

This plastic upgrade kit can be used to equip Saturnine Siege Dreadnoughts with an infantry-blasting heavy plasma bombard and armour-destroying disintegrator cannon, and a choice between chest-mounted photonic incinerators or concussive resonators. Combine with the Saturnine Siege Dreadnought – Ophion Configuration kit, available separately, to increase your weapon options, or with the Saturnine Siege Dreadnought – Chiron Configuration kit, also available separately, to double up on your choice of heavy weaponry.

This upgrade kit comprises 54 plastic components and is designed to be assembled with the Saturnine Siege Dreadnought, which is sold separately. These components are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
