The M113 C&V (Commando & Verkenning) used by the Dutch reconnaissance troops has the same origins as the Canadian Lynx. However, in the 1970s M113 C&V had its machine-gun cupola replaced with a Oerlikon-Bührle GBD-ADA turret fitted with a 25mm KBA cannon. The 25mm cannon allows them to suppress an enemy position before making their escape.

M48 Chaparral SAM Platoon (TIBX07) includes four M48 Chaparral SAM launchers, one unit card & one decal sheet.
The US also supplied the IDF with M48 Chaparral surface-to-air missile (SAM) carriers. It used the MIM-72G Chaparral missile that was aimed manually by the operator before firing until the missile locked on the hot exhaust of the aircraft with its infra-red seeker.

The M48 Chaparral is a tried and tested surface- to-air missile (SAM) weapons system that first entered service with the US Army in 1969. This SAM system fires MIM-72G Chaparral missiles (based on the AIM-9 Sidewinder air to-air missile) which use an infra-red seeker to lock on to the hot exhaust of an aircraft.

The M551 Sheridan Armored Reconnaissance/Airborne Assault Vehicle, or ARAAV, is fitted with the M81 dual-purpose gun/missile launcher. It can fire conventional HEAT antitank ammunition for shorter range targets, or the MGM51 Shillelagh (pronounced shil-laylee) anti-tank guided missile, which was more effective at longer ranges.

During the 1970s the Israel Defence Forces started to take deliveries of M60 Patton tanks from the US, and with the outbreak of the 1973 war the Israelis as received M60 tanks direct from US Army stocks as replacements.

Compared to the original Marder, the Marder 2 is an entirely new vehicle, which shares only the name and general layout. The armored protection of the Marder 2 was rated to withstand a 30mm AP round frontally and a 14.5mm round at all other angles. British Mechanised Company TBBX10 comprises a Company HQ and two Mechanised Platoons. After the 1967 war, the purchase of modern military equipment became more difficult and the Israeli government decided to design, develop, and build an indigenous main battle tank. The design prioritised armour, armament and mobility in that order, with the key characteristic of the new tank being its armour and crew protection.
