Masters of Possession are Heretic Astartes psykers who specialise in channelling daemons into living hosts, bolstering their possessed brethren with empyric energies that strengthen and reinvigorate such tainted unions. In battle, they unleash daemonic energies upon the foe, ripping apart their souls to channel them to greater use.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Master of Possession, a potent Chaos Space Marine psyker. He's an intimidating figure, clad in sorcerous robes and trinkets, with flaming skulls and a daemonic helm decorating his armour. His horned staff of possession helps him to strip the very souls from his victims – especially deadly for enemy psykers – while the sacrifical dagger hanging from his belt is more often turned on unfortunate allies. The Master of Possession is an excellent choice for aspiring hobby champions, combining various textures such as cloth, bone, metal, and leather, along with flame effects for you to demonstrate your skills.

This kit comprises eight plastic components and comes with a Citadel 40mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

  • Lion El'Johnson

The First. The Son of the Forest. The Master of Caliban. The Primarch of the Dark Angels.

Lion El'Jonson stalks from mist-wreathed shadow realms like an ancient questing knight, hunting the galaxy's myriad terrors. With his immense blade, Fealty, the Primarch cleaves apart the most heinous of monstrosities, while the Emperor's Shield erupts in blazes of light and force in response to his foes' savage blows.

This is a jaw-dropping miniature befitting the legendary status of a Primarch, striding over battlefield rubble in ornate, knightly armour adorned with personal heraldry and the symbols of the Dark Angels. He's joined by a pair of mysterious Watchers in the Dark, and can be built with one of four different head options – a bare head, a hooded head, a crested helm, and a hooded helm.

This miniature makes an incredible centrepiece for any Dark Angels army. Painters will enjoy the level of detail and the different textures that make up his robes, armour, and weapons. • Tyranids: Biovore

Biovores are living artillery pieces, swollen with the clutch of explosive Spore Mines that they nurture within their bodies. Upon anchoring itself to the ground with chitinous spurs, a Biovore undergoes violent spasms that expel its volatile offspring in high arcs as living ammunition. From there, the gas-bloated Spore Mines detonate in a shower of bone shards and acid rain, or else drift languidly down onto the battlefield, primed to explode whenever prey draws near.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Biovore – a sentient Tyranid mortar – as well as three floating Spore Mines. The Biovore's lumbering form supports a symbiotic dorsal launcher, its spore-sac bulging with biological explosives waiting to be fired. The Spore Mines can be launched onto the battlefield by the Biovore, or simply rain down from the skies. The kit offers several alternate leg poses and basing elements for the Biovore, as well as three distinct designs of Spore Mine, allowing you to maintain variety in your brood as you build a whole battery of artillery-beasts.

The Biovore in this kit can alternatively be built as a Pyrovore, a fire-spewing Tyranid creature.

This kit comprises 37 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 80mm Round Base and 3x Citadel 25mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

  • Blood Bowl: Spike! Journal 17

Deep in the dank heart of the old forests, mischievous woodland creatures frolic, prance, and beat each other to a pulp playing the age-old game of Blood Bowl. This issue's guest editor, Davide Mirrorfoot, reveals just a few of the secrets of Gnome teams.

While the average Blood Bowl fan isn't even aware of their existence, Gnomes have been playing the beautiful game as long as anyone can remember. Rarely venturing outside of their hidden forest lairs, they can be coaxed to play ball with the big folks – though they prefer to play against Halflings, their greatest (well, smallest) rivals. This issue of Spike! Journal braves the stupefying mists to reveal a strange world of magical gridiron action. If you feel compelled to learn more, it's surely no accident.

    This issue includes:

    Trifling Tricksters
Vital background knowledge of Gnome teams in Blood Bowl, including a breakdown of the positions they play – Linemen, Beastmasters, and Illusionists, and the forest friends they bring to the pitch, including Woodland Foxes and Altern Forest Treemen.

    Famous Gnome Teams
Thrilling tales of the Glimdwallow Geezers (not to be confused with the Glimdwarrow Groundhogs), Anti-Moot Meddlers, and more improbably-named teams.

    Team Spotlight: Glimdwarrow Groundhogs
Hailing from one of the largest known settlements of Gnomes, this team has broken out of the bogs to play actual games across the Old World, becoming a firm fan favourite for their antics and plucky spirit. While highlights might be a stretch, you'll learn all about their history, team rating, and 2501-2502 lineup.

Star Player Spotlight – Rowena Forestfoot
Known as the Guardian of the Forest, this unlikely champion rides on the back of a stag. More focused and level-headed than many of her team-mates, she’s a dependable and agile asset to the Gnomes.

    Dirt from the Dugout
Mindy Piewhistle exposes a scandal involving a Gnome team’s memorabilia, which may be too good to be true.

Star Player Spotlight – Rodney Roachbait
This Gnome is always angling for his next big catch. His mastery of the fishing rod proves quite handy, even if the balls end up punctured from time to time.

Star Player Spotlight – Akhorne the Squirrel
Don't make the mistake of underestimating this bite-sized bruiser. While the Gnomes are well-gnome for bringing their woodland pals to the pitch, this particular player puts the crit back in critter, racking up an impressive tally of casualties.

    Dungeon Bowl Update: Gnome Teams
