Having honed his skills through years of piracy upon the Meredius, Aiakos moves with his Warmachine Cryx battlegroup like a specter of death both at sea and on land, striking down foes with wicked effectiveness. Nowhere is his cruelty more apparent than in his weapon of choice, a chained harpoon he uses to impale his victims before reeling them in to deliver the death blow.

Smog belchers are black ogrun who wield heavy culverin-style cannons. Smog belcher weapons are crafted by skilled ironmongers, black ogrun metalsmiths who fuse their craft with rituals of bloodletting and dark magic. From the deck of a Cryxian vessel, smog belchers lay down a barrage of fire, filling the air with a lingering cloud of corrupting ash that rots flesh and blisters the lungs of anyone who breathes it.
The Warmachine Cryx Ghost Raiders walk the ashen decks of the Atramentous as sinister blazing spectres among the masses of the rotting dead and over the centuries have reaped a terrible harvest of souls to increase their phantom ranks. When obliterated in battle, the ghost's curse draws their invisible essences shrieking back to the Atramentous to reignite in its endless flames. By the Warmachine Dragonfather's unending fire did their mortality end, and to that fire they will forever return.
Caring little for their own safety, blighted trollkin marauders swing braziers on long chains that blaze with fire fed by rendered body fat and whale oil. Marauders delight in setting fire to homes in the coastal communities they raid, waiting for the fleeing victims within to rush headlong into their waiting arms. They particularly enjoy the first bite of living flesh that has been blackened and blistered by their torches, and they find the smell of burning meat exquisite.
Captian Aiakos Cryx Warcaster A merciless cutthroat of the high seas, Aiakos has risen from humble beginnings among the gangs of Blackwater to become one of the fiercest captains in Cryx’s pirate fleet. The warcaster rushes to the forefront of every engagement, bounding from ship to ship to skewer his opponents with harpoon and blade. Wherever the promise of a bloody battle arises, Aiakos and his crew are not far behind.
Corruptor Reaper Malice Cryx Warmachine can be made up as one of three variant models:
Corruptor is the culmination of Cryx’s pioneering work in caustic compounds and necrotic poisons, a helljack armed with venomous weapons designed to consume both body and soul.
Mailce is shrouded in the ghostly remnants of its past victims. Few enemies can escape the reach of Malice’s heavy harpoon, which it uses to snare foes and drag them into range of its shredding claw. However, it is the helljack’s ability to take control of enemy warjacks, turning them against their own warcasters, that makes Malice a truly unique Cryxian horror.
Reaper can fire its harpoon to sink deep into flesh or steel before reeling in its victim with frightening speed to within range of its vicious helldriver spike.

Cryx Bane riders are chosen from among the most vicious and spiteful of bane spirits, their minds intact enough to be given positions of prominence among the armies of the Dragonfather. Astride their undead mounts, these malicious thralls can become wraith-like to move through trees and buildings until the moment they strike with their bane blades to cut down enemies their leader has marked with unholy curses.

The bloated bodies of bile thralls are walking vessels for volumes of corrosive digestive and decomposition agents, with hoses and tubes leading from their distended mouths and fabricated orifices to crude firing mechanisms. With a lurching spasm, each bile thrall can force a starting volume of caustic fluid out over a wide area to dissolve flesh and devour tempered metal.

From below western Immoren emerge the inscrutable cephalyx mind slavers, who have entered into an unholy bargain with the Cryxian Empire. Applying a horrific blend of machinery, alchemy, and disfiguring surgery, the slavers transform their captured victims into powerfully muscled and mechanically enhanced warriors they control to fight and die in their stead.
For more than 200 years, the necromechanikal horror called the Deathjack has haunted the wilds of western Immoren. Striking without warning, this infernal machine voraciously devours souls and leaves nothing but death and destruction in its wake.

Cryx Solo Crone of Dying Strand Agrimony is a terrifying and ghostly witch, more often whispered of as the Crone of the Dying Strands, is herself enslaved to Captain Rengrave, the first citizen of Cryx. She is nearly as old as her master, once having ruled her own island and standing apart from the pirate kings of old, who feared her curses.
The murderous Bloodgorgers hail from the blighted trollkin kriels of the Scharde Islands. Toruk’s presence has blessed these trollkin with pronounced spurs and curving horns, enhancing their already-formidable ability to commit atrocity. Corrupted and black-hearted, they find no greater joy in life than charging into battle to maim their enemies before devouring them while fresh blood steams in the air.
Deneghra, the Cryx Epic Battle Engine Soul Weaver takes to the skies to terrorise her foes. Atop her nightmarish winged necromechanikal mount she blots out the sun, casting a long shadow over those destined to die by her command. She gathers the souls of those slain in her presence, twisting them to her malevolent will. Such is her mastery that she can send these tormented spirits to empower her machines or tear their essence apart to weave a torrent of withering magic.
Deneghra Wraith Witch Epic Cryx Warmachine Undeath has amplified twisted manners of treachery and deceit, cruelty and lust. She can only feel a tempestuous rage and act against those in her path, wantonly seeking victims to crush and kill at the behest of her master. However, it does nothing to ease her worries or fill the void left by her vacant soul.
Jussika Bloodtongue is feared by all in the port towns of the Broken Coast who know of her exploits as “the Queen of Blood”. The blighted trollkin Jussika Bloodtongue is a favoured lieutenant of Slaughterborn, a brutal taskmaster who leads hosts of Bloodgorgers and marauders in great orgies of destruction. She has become one of the most dreaded and infamous trollkin in the Scharde Islands.
Kharybdis Cryx Warjack was lost, believed to have been destroyed when the Cygnaran Navy sank the blackship carrying it. With nothing but a crude map, Captain Aiakos set out to recover this powerful helljack that slumbered in the deep. Kharybdis now terrorizes victims of the warcaster’s bloody raids, tearing anything within reach to pieces.
Kraken Sepulcher Colossal Cryx Warmachine Cryxian colossals rank among the most nightmarish necromechanikal fabrications ever loosed upon the Iron Kingdoms. Deployed only sparingly and in secret for centuries, these terrifying constructs are seen among Cryx armies with increasing frequency. The Kraken lashes out with long tentacles, feeding its necromantic furnace with the corpses of its victims to power its deadly hellblaster cannon. The Sepulcher snatches enemy soldiers and necromechanikally enhances them, producing an endless supply of thralls to be unleashed on the enemies of the Dragonfather.
Misery cages are a cruel twist on the gibbets used on the mainland to punish pirates. While a mundane gibbet holds a living prisoner to waste away, a misery cage wrings arcane power from the flesh and souls of any locked away within. Cryxians stuff the dead and dying into misery cages so warcasters can draw upon their essence to fuel their profane magic, which renders the body within to crumbling ash, a terrifying but relatively merciful end.
Most of the living humans who serve Cryx do so as part of the pirate raiding fleets. They are notorious for being willful and bloodthirsty scoundrels of volatile temperament. Sailors in the Cryxian fleets bear marks of the Dragonfather’s blessing in the forms of scales, bony protrusions, and horns growing out of their flesh. These pirates are hardy due in part to the blight toughening their bodies but much more so because their lives are brutal and their battles frequent.
The Shrike soars against the weight of its great tempered-steel wings by virtue of the roaring fires of its necrotite engine and the dark spells woven into its frame. Following the predatory instincts instilled in its cortex, the Shrike surveys the field of battle from aloft before plunging into the formations of the living to scythe through the ranks with its bladed wings. The appearance of Shrikes is often a precursor to a larger Cryxian force.
Slaughter Fleet Raiders Theme Force. Take command of these merciless pirates with this box, which contains a full crew of Slaughter Fleet raiders ready to support your warcaster’s battlegroup!

Slayer Erberus Cryx can be assembled so one of two variants either:
the fiendish inventiveness of Cryxian necrotechs has resulted in many machines perfected to employ the killing arts. The Slayer is a swift, hulking beast of bone and black iron that relishes murdering anything in its path.
Erebus serves Lord Exhumator Scaverous, murdering all in its path as it eagerly gathers souls for its master. The lives Erebus has claimed leave it steeped in the detritus of a thousand deaths. This spectral effluvium envelops the machine, repelling any who try to strike its blackened carapace.

Sturgis The Corrupted Epic Warcaster Cryx Warmachine pledged his immortal soul in service to the Dragonfather, and now is as corrupt as he was once honorable. This former Cygnaran warcaster now bends his formidable fighting prowess against those he used to call brother and friend. Though he maintains the same reflexes and skills he held in life, Sturgis the Corrupted no longer seeks to use his power to protect those around him, instead turning his arcane strength to the destruction of his enemies.
Versatile and deadly soldiers among more mindless undead, bane thralls host a darkness that both permeates their being and seeps into the world of the living. This darkness siphons the very light from the air and is utterly inimical to living flesh. The malevolent glimmer in the eyes of these wickedly proficient killers hints at a hateful intelligence that lets them coordinate cunning attacks and drives them to seek any opportunity to sow death.
