The Adeptus Mechanicus march to war as a disturbing fusion of flesh and machine, ruling Tech-Priests and fanatical cyborg followers raising modified voices in binharic praise of the Machine God. Purge Corps Deltic-9 are equipped to scour the contamination of enemy presence from locations of strategic or exploratory importance, employing cybernetic speed and terrifying weapons. Cavalry and winged Pteraxii unleash gouts of purging flame, before radioactive Skitarii bring up the rear to reclaim whatever remains.

  • Craftworlds Spiritseer

Spiritseers are those upon the Witch Path who are called to commune with the dead – a chilling concept, even amongst the Asuryani. Although their main task is to shepherd wraithbone constructs to battle, a Spiritseer can also use their psychic abilities to aid the greater Asuryani warhost. By their eldritch powers are friendly troops enshrouded in mist, or foes illuminated or struck down with mystic bolts of energy.

A Spiritseer is an HQ choice available to the Craftworld Aeldari – known as the Asuryani – though they can also be called upon to join the Ynnari. Each is a skilled psyker on the battlefield, able to wield powers from the Ruins of Battle discipline. They work especially well alongside Spirit Host units such as Wraithguard and towering Wraithknights, where the Spiritseer’s otherworldly Spirit Mark will enhance the accuracy of the mighty ghost warriors.

A Spiritseer stands with one foot planted on a ruined piece of architecture. The miniature carries a witch staff in one hand and an Aeldari blade in the other. A shuriken pistol rests in a holster attached to the Spiritseer’s sash.

The multipart plastic miniature comprises 11 components, and comes supplied with a Citadel 25mmm Round Base. The Warhammer 40,000 rules for Spiritseers can be found in Codex: Craftworlds.

For thousands of years the robed priests of the Machine Cult have presided over the fabrication, maintenance, and preservation of Humanity’s surviving technological wonders with reverence and ritual. Led by Tech-Priests whose weak organic flesh has been replaced with metallic augmentations, their armies fight to defend forge worlds and strike out across the galaxy in search of ancient archeotech.

  • Adeptus Mechanicus: Sydonian Skatros

A Sydonian Skatros is a sinister cybernetic sentinel, stoic and unmoving until the moment an enemy strays into range of their huge rifle. Mechanical, stilt-like limbs allow them to traverse hazardous terrain and survey the environment, shrouded by a smog of incense-exhaust. With protocol-driven precision and an advanced scanner known as the achillan eye, they lock on to their foes’ weakpoints and unleash pinpoint fire that sows panic and agony – all the better for eroding enemy morale.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Sydonian Skatros, an augmented sniper created by the Adeptus Mechanicus. This Skitarii sharpshooter can be armed with one of two long-barrelled guns – a radium jezzail, which fires radioactive bullets that pierce armour and poison flesh, or a high-powered transuranic arquebus. Each weapon comes with its own bionic loader-arm, as well as an ammunition pack for the Skatros' belt, which sports a holstered pistol for closer foes.

The kit also includes a choice of two different headset designs for the Skatros – a sinister mono-visor, or a pair of staring goggle-lenses – which can be worn over their cyborg facemask or pushed up onto their forehead.

This kit comprises 21 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 40mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
