The M113 C&V (Commando & Verkenning) used by the Dutch reconnaissance troops has the same origins as the Canadian Lynx. However, in the 1970s M113 C&V had its machine-gun cupola replaced with a Oerlikon-Bührle GBD-ADA turret fitted with a 25mm KBA cannon. The 25mm cannon allows them to suppress an enemy position before making their escape.

The M48 Chaparral is a tried and tested surface- to-air missile (SAM) weapons system that first entered service with the US Army in 1969. This SAM system fires MIM-72G Chaparral missiles (based on the AIM-9 Sidewinder air to-air missile) which use an infra-red seeker to lock on to the hot exhaust of an aircraft.

The M551 Sheridan Armored Reconnaissance/Airborne Assault Vehicle, or ARAAV, is fitted with the M81 dual-purpose gun/missile launcher. It can fire conventional HEAT antitank ammunition for shorter range targets, or the MGM51 Shillelagh (pronounced shil-laylee) anti-tank guided missile, which was more effective at longer ranges.
In 1978 most Sheridans were phased out of service. However, the 82nd Airborne Division decided to keep the air transportable Sheridan airborne assault vehicle. These were upgraded with improved suspension.

M6 37mm GMC (US100) with one M6 37mm GMC & four crew figures.

Developed in 1942, the M6 37mm GMC mounted a 37mm M3 Anti-tank gun on the back of a 3/4-ton 4x4 Dodge WC-55 truck. The 37mm M3 gun was only able to penetrate 1.4 inches of armour plate at a distance of 500 yards; and crews quickly discovered the 37mm gun was inadequate when it came to dealing with the German tanks of this period.
