  • Horus Heresy: MKII Tactical Squad

Tactical squads are the mainstay of the Space Marine Legions and the force by which the Great Crusade reconquered much of the galaxy. As a highly flexible unit, they are efficient in attack or defence, can assault fortified positions, take and hold strategic objectives, and reliably operate in any terrain or situation.

When first created, Mark II ‘Crusade’ armour was the epitome of Space Marine technology – a void-sealed, radiation-shielded suit of battle plate able to withstand an unprecedented degree of punishment. Despite its age, it was still used extensively when the Horus Heresy broke out.

This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Space Marines Legionaries for use as a Tactical Squad in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They are ideal for holding key objectives, gunning down enemy units with volleys of bolter fire, and reinforcing front lines to turn the tide of battle.

This kit can build one large unit, or two smaller units of 10, each with its own optional Sergeant, Legionary with nuncio-vox, and Legionary with vexilla. The Sergeant has a choice of three heads – two bare, and one helmeted with a transverse crest. He can be armed with a bolter or a plasma pistol, and a power sword, power fist, or lightning claw. He can also take an optional melta bomb. The Legionaries with bolters can take an optional bayonet or chain bayonet, and the heads and accessories – including grenades, pistol holsters, and pouches – are interchangeable across the miniatures.

These miniatures can also be used to represent:
    – Veteran Tactical Squad
    – Tactical Support Squad (with the Special Weapons Upgrade Set, available separately)
    – Heavy Support Squad (with a Heavy Weapons Upgrade Set, available separately)
    – Praetorian Command Squad or Centurion Command Squad (with the Legion Command Upgrade Set, available separately)
    – Despoiler Squad (with the Melee Weapons Upgrade Set, available separately)

These miniatures have no Legion-specific markings, so you can use them in any Space Marines force, whether you're loyal to the Emperor or have joined Horus in his rebellion.

This kit comprises 344 plastic components, 20x Citadel 32mm Round Bases, and 1x Horus Heresy Legion Infantry Transfer Sheet containing 618 high-quality waterslide transfers – featuring Legion iconography for the Sons of Horus, Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors, and Salamanders – to decorate your miniatures.

These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour Paints.

  • Horus Heresy: Tarantula Sentry Guns

Tarantula Sentry Guns are utilitarian weapons platforms, often used to bolster exposed flanks or rear line positions to free up the Adeptus Astartes troops. Little more than a sturdy base with a mobile turret, they are designed to mount several different weapons as needs demand. Though simple, they are effective when deployed well. This multipart plastic kit builds two Tarantula Sentry Guns, automated weapons platforms for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Each can be armed with one of four different types of weapons – armour-busting lascannons, infantry-slaying heavy bolters, a sentry melta array for the heaviest armour, or volkite culverins to shred hordes of infantry. Whatever enemies you're going up against, there's a configuration for you. This kit has no Legion-specific markings, meaning you can use it in any Space Marines force, whether you are loyal to the Emperor, or have joined Horus in his rebellion

  • Horus Heresy: Tarantula Missile Battery

Tarantula Missile Batteries are utilitarian weapons platforms, often used to bolster exposed flanks or rear line positions to free up the Adeptus Astartes troops. Little more than a sturdy base with a mobile turret, they are designed to mount several different weapons as needs demand. Though simple, they are effective when deployed well. This multipart plastic kit builds two Tarantula Missile Batteries, automated weapons platforms for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Each can be armed with either a Hyperios missile launcher to take on armour and aircraft, or Orias frag missiles to blast apart hordes of infantry. Whatever enemies you're going up against, there's a configuration for you. This kit has no Legion-specific markings, meaning you can use it in any Space Marines force, whether you are loyal to the Emperor, or have joined Horus in his rebellion.

  • Horus Heresy: Rapier Quad Heavy Bolters

Rapier carriers are semi-automated tracked weapons carriers with on-board targeting systems and power generators. They are designed to mount support weaponry too large and cumbersome for even the superhuman strength of a Space Marine to carry. Common armaments include quad heavy bolters for anti-personnel duty, while less commonly, more exotic weaponry such as the graviton cannon are mounted for special operations. This multipart plastic kit builds two Rapier Carrier weapons platforms and four crew – mobile artillery for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Each Rapier Carrier can be built with either a heavy-infantry shredding quad heavy bolter battery, or a vehicle-killing graviton cannon. The heads, accessories, and backpacks are interchangeable across the crew of two spotters and two controllers, so you can customise their appearance. This kit has no Legion-specific markings, meaning you can use it in any Space Marines force, whether you are loyal to the Emperor, or have joined Horus in his rebellion.

  • Horus Heresy: Rapier Laser Destroyer

Rapier carriers are semi-automated tracked weapons carriers with on-board targeting systems and power generators. They are designed to mount support weaponry too large and cumbersome for even the superhuman strength of a Space Marine to carry. Common armaments include laser destroyer arrays for anti-armour duties, and so-called ‘thudd gun’ multi-launchers for siege warfare and suppressive fire. This multipart plastic kit builds two Rapier Carrier weapons platforms and four crew – mobile artillery for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Each Rapier Carrier can be built with either an armour-busting laser destroyer, or a siege specialist quad launcher. The heads, accessories, and backpacks are interchangeable across the crew of two spotters and two controllers, so you can customise their appearance. In the wake of the Great Gun's reverberations, alien growths are discovered among the foundations of the great city of Hive Fissilicus.
