  • Storm Strike Age of Sigmar Starter Set

    Storm Strike Age of Sigmar Starter Set contains everything you need to get started with exciting games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, this box is the perfect starting point.

    Two powerful forces – the heroic Stormcast Eternals and Khorne’s unstoppable Bloodbound – meet in savage combat to control the destiny of the mortal realms!

    Ancient skeletons and mouldering corpses crawl from their barrows, called forth by the dark sorcery of Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead. Ancient beyond reckoning, cruel and infinitely calculating, Nagash seeks to remake the Mortal Realms in his own image, transforming them into an ordered empire of mindless thralls, leashed to his will. In opposition, thunder rolls as the Stormcast Eternals, heavenly champions of order, rage forth to meet this threat head-on in epic clashes to decide the fate of the world, This is a new epoch, a time of mighty battles and unending war, a time of heroes and monsters. This is the Age of Sigmar!

    Ideal for those new to Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and the wider hobby of collecting, building, painting and playing with Citadel miniatures, Storm Strike is a starter set containing 15 push-fit miniatures split across the factions of the heroic Stormcast Eternals and ghastly, undead Nighthaunt – mortal enemies locked in unending combat – along with detailed guides on assembling, painting and playing with them. Included:

    Miniatures

    15 push-fit miniatures, which can be assembled without glue and are even supplied on pre-coloured plastic:

    Stormcast Eternals

    The glorious forces of Sigmar, pure and unbowed warriors dedicated to scouring the Mortal Realms of Chaos, Destruction and Death. Each of the Stormcast Eternals miniatures in the box is an Easy to Build push-fit model, supplied on gold plastic sprues and requiring no glue to assemble:

    - 3 Castigators and a loyal Gryph-hound – support troops who lay down withering ranged attacks with their thunderhead greatbows;
    - 3 Sequitors – frontline infantry who bring the fight to the fore with stormsmite mauls and soulshields – their leader, the Sequitor-Prime, carries a spirit flask.

    Nighthaunt

    Nagash’s seemingly-endless hordes of risen undead, bitter and lethal toward all who still possess the gift of life. Each of the Nighthaunt miniatures in the box is an Easy to Build push-fit model, supplied on turquoise plastic sprues and requiring no glue to assemble:

    - 4 Glaivewraith Stalkers: unstoppable gheists drifting inexorably towards their prey, each attacks with a 2-handed hunter’s glaive;
    - 4 Myrmourn Banshees: hollow and horrifying, they drift and swoop weightlessly clutching their chill daggers.

    Gaming Content

    Storm Strike features a 16-page set booklet of core rules, providing the basics you need to get gaming. It includes:

    - An overview of the items needed to play, how to set up and choose your general, and the basics of measuring distances between models;
    - A walkthrough of the turn sequence – casting spells, using abilities, movement, shooting, charging, fighting and testing for battleshock are covered in a concise and easy to follow manner;
    - Using Triumphs – these are rewards bestowed upon your army after a major victory;
    - Rules covering the use of terrain and scenery in your battles, demonstrating how battles can be radically different in nature depending on the environment;
    - A guide to Battleplans – their setup, the rules they employ and the victory conditions they place on your games;
    - An explanation of Warscrolls and their use – these contain the rules for your miniatures – and Warscroll Battalions, special formations of certain miniatures that confer extra rewards and abilities;
    - Realm of Battle rules – special conditions placed upon the battlefield depending on which Mortal Realm the battle is fought in, which introduce a thematic element to games;
    - Allegiance Abilities – these allow your army to use additional abilities and spells, according to their Grand Alliance, faction, and allies.

    4 Warscroll cards are included – these cards contain the rules and statistics you need in order to field your miniatures, laid out for ease of use in a handy card format. A Warscroll is included for each type of miniature in the box. A further 5 Warscroll cards are in the box detailing some of the other miniatures in the range (available separately), giving an insight on how to expand your armies with your next purchases.

    Of course, you’ll need guidance in order to play games with your new miniatures – included is an 80-page softback book, packed with background and essential information on painting and playing, including:

    - Realms of War – a detailed guide to the Warhammer Age of Sigmar setting, with background on each of the 8 Realms and details of the events that have set in motion the Soul Wars which are blighting each Realm. This includes an explanatory guide to the Stormhosts of the Stormcast Eternals; each of these is its own army with distinct uniforms, tactics and background, as well as the story of the Nighthaunt, the vanguard of Nagash’s horrifyingly large undead army.
    - 4 Battleplans – these are scenarios that feature the included miniatures, with special instructions for setting them up, each re-creating a specific battle from the rich history of the struggle to dominate the Mortal Realms. • Talos Drukhari

    The Warhammer 40,000 Dark Eldar Talos Pain Engines are seen as the pinnacle of the Haemonculi's art. Creations of mad genius, each one is part organic and part mechanical, festooned with surgical apparatus and horrible-looking weapons of war. The bladed forelimbs of a Talos can scissor even an Ogryn into bloody chunks, while whirling blades and drills can eviscerate a man in seconds, disassembling him into his component parts, rending him down until nothing is left. For nearby Dark Eldar this is like watching an artist at work. For nearby foes it is a horrifying, gut-wrenching sight that can turn even the bravest warrior into a quivering wreck. The Warhammer 40,000 Dark Eldar Cronos Parasite Engine is a disturbing, bizarre creation and is used, much like the Talos, as a torture device and war machine. Through the strange blend of alchemy and science practiced by the Haemonculi covens, the Cronos drains away not the physical constituents of its victims, but their life essence. What remains of its prey when the vile creature has drunk its fill is little more than a grey shrivelled husk that quickly collapses into dust. An Archon will often keep a Cronos in his employ for when realspace raids take longer than expected as their mere presence can drive the Warhammer 40,000 Dark Eldar into a murderous frenzy that few defenders can hope to stop.

  • Terradon or Ripperdactyl Riders

    These Warhammer Lizardmen Terradon riders are exceptionally useful in battle, flying ahead of the main army, scouting the position of the enemy, and striking suddenly and silently from above. The Warhammer Skinks launching javelins, and the creatures themselves attacking with their long beaks filled with razor sharp teeth.

    There are two types of regiment that this kit can make. The Terradon Riders can be armed with javelins or flaming Fireleech bolas whilst the champion has a head crest of feathers. There are different designs of collars that can be attached to the necks of the Terradons and 3 Drop Rocks that can be attached to each of the models.

    Using the same bodies and wings as the Terradons, the Ripperdactyls have 3 different heads and additional long tails. They are modelled with talons exposed, ready for the kill and have extra talons that can be modelled onto the wings. The Skink riders are armed with spears and shields, while the champion wields an axe and can be decorated with feathers to distinguish him.

    You can also make the special character Tiktaq'to on his Terradon Zwup from the contents of this kit. He can be armed with the Blade of Ancient Skies, and wear the Mask of Heavens over his face.

    There are enough extra bits on the sprues to add masonry to the bases, and extra feathers where you need them. There is also a Blot Toad included on the frame which can be used as an in-game marker.

    This multi-part plastic kit contains 113 components with which to make either 3 Lizardmen Terradon Riders, 3 Ripperdactyl Riders, or Tiktaq'to and 2 other riders.

  • Terrorgheist

    Warhammer dragons are a proud and noble race that ruled the skies long before the coming of Chaos. However, like all mortal creatures, they will eventually succumb to old age or injury, and they will fly across entire continents to their final resting place - the Plain of Bones. It is to this inhospitable place that a Vampire will travel to claim an Terrorgheist as his mount, raising its ruined carcass from the desert sand on a pillar of Dark Magic to do his bidding. A Terrorgheist is borne aloft by great tattered wings, its body covered with thick, withered hide. Though once it breathed fire capable of melting steel, it now belches forth a cloud of noxious gas, foetid with decay, which strips flesh from bones and corrodes armour. In death, its teeth and claws are as sharp as they were in life, able to tear a knight and his mount clean in half before feeding upon whatever's left.

    When such a fearsome monster is used as a steed by a powerful Vampire Lord, even the greatest heroes and sturdiest warriors fight a foe against which there can be no hope of victory.

    This Warhammer multi-part plastic Terrorgheist kit contains 85 components with which to build one Ghoul King on Zombie Dragon or one Ghoul King on Terrorgeist. The kit comes with plenty of optional extras, including two different riders - the armoured Vampire Lord, who comes with a huge variety of different weapons, and the rather more bestial Ghoul King, who just uses his claws to tear you up instead. The model is supplied with a Citadel 130mm Round base and a Citadel 25mm Round base - we recommend using Games Workshop Plastic Glue and Games Workshop Paints.

  • The Horus Heresy, Primarchs: Sons of The Emperor

    A Primarchs anthology

    The primarchs, nigh-immortal sons of the Emperor of Mankind, are laid bare in a series of short stories that showcase great deeds and hideous acts they performed, from the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy.

  • The Three Hunters

    When the Fellowship of the Ring was broken at Amon Hen, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli chose to pursue the Uruk-hai who had abducted the Hobbits Merry and Pippin. These Three Hunters tracked the enemy to Rohan, where they fought alongside King Théoden at Helm's Deep, before turning to ancient paths in search of allies – and Aragorn's destiny.

    During the Battle of Pelennor Fields, they arrived at the Docks of Harlond when things seemed darkest for the White City, leading the Army of the Dead – and with them came victory for the Men of the West.

    This plastic kit builds three Citadel miniatures representing Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, the Three Hunters, as they appeared at the docks of Harlond in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King™.

    The Three Hunters are a great addition to any Good army, providing hard-hitting power both up close and at range. Aragorn's inexhaustible Might resource and sword Andúril make him a potent asset, while Legolas' unerring accuracy with his bow and Gimli's wide range of attacks are tremendous support. Together, the three can take on many times their number in enemies.

    Also included in the set is a plastic priority marker. One side features an icon representing the Three Hunters, featuring each of their weapons. On the other side is the Eye of Sauron. This can be used to mark who has priority in each game turn.

    This multipart plastic kit comes in 27 components to build three miniatures plus a priority marker. It also includes 3 25mm round bases.

    Aragorn is armed with the sword Andúril, Flame of the West. He is running forward ready to strike, and wears an Elven cloak over his Ranger garb.

    Legolas is striding forward firing his Elven bow with unerring accuracy. He wears an Elven cloak over his forest-hued clothing.

    Gimli is marching menacingly towards the foe, a double-handed axe ready to cleave some Orc heads. In addition, his iconic two-headed axe is stowed on his back and he carries a brace of throwing axes. He wears an Elven cloak in addition to his layers of armour.

  • The Triumph of St Katherine

    Where the Triumph of Saint Katherine marches, there shines the Emperor’s radiance. With every step, this funerary procession spreads the glory of the martyred Matriarch further across the galaxy, scattering before it the enemies of the faith and instilling in the Sisters of Battle the fiery conviction of Katherine herself. Yet it is not only the founder of the Order of Our Martyred Lady who is venerated by the Triumph, for through its presence are the spirits of all six Matriarchs carried to the front lines.

    Accompanying the blessed bier that bears the skeletal remains of Saint Katherine within her reliquary armour are six members of the Orders Pronatus. Each of these handpicked exemplars of the Adepta Sororitas embodies one of the canonised Matriarchs of the six original Orders:

    - Saint Katherine, Order of Our Martyred Lady (very front): Wielding the Martyr's sword and the Praesidium Protectiva, this sister embodies the Spirit of Saint Katherine. The Praesidium Protectiva was once Saint Katherine's own shield and contains a shard of the Emperor's armour. As such, it helps protect the processional, as well as nearby Sisters.

    - Saint Dominica, Order of the Ebon Chalice (front left): Bearing a simulacrum of the Ebon Chalice, a black goblet imbued with ever-burning flame, this sister embodies the Spirit of Saint Dominica.

    - Saint Mina, Order of the Bloody Rose (back left): This sister carries the Petals of the Bloody Rose, ritually scattered to symbolise the blood of the enemy spilt by the Red Saint before being martyred.

    - Saint Silvana, Order of the Argent Shroud (very back): A simulacrum of the Argent Shroud is mounted on a banner atop her backpack. This sister follows at the back of the procession giving sermons and reading aloud the deeds of Saint Silvana, while the shroud above her depicts the skeletal remains of the Saint Silvana.

    - Saint Lucia, Order of the Valorous Heart (back right): Holding aloft the Icon of the Valorous Heart, this pulsing icon brings strength to the warriors of the Imperium who hear its beat.

    - Saint Arabella, Order of the Sacred Rose (front right): Swinging the Censer of the Sacred Rose in their left hand, the censer burns with an eternal flame, imbuing nearby Sisters with the strength to spread the Emperor's truth with even greater zeal.

  • The Unmade

    The Unmade don't just look scary – they're a cracking choice for the battlefields of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, too! These self-mutilating maniacs won’t just carve your enemies up in close combat, but can rob them of their ability to run away, too. This lets you lock down key foes while the rest of your Slaves to Darkness run roughshod on your foe’s squishiest units! They'll also dish out some nasty penalties to Bravery for anyone nearby. Alternatively, you can use this set to bolster your roster for Warcry if you already own your Fighter Cards and Abilities Card for the Unmade.

The Briar Queen herself is a nightmarishly effective spellcaster, whose Howling Vortex can shut down enemy units’ movement and allow the rest of your Nighthaunts to surround them.
