Based on the M3 half-track, the T28E1 Combination Gun Motor Carriage was equipped with one M1A2 37 mm autocannon flanked by two M2WC machine guns. The M15 CGMC was a T28E1 variant equipped with an armoured superstructure on the turreted mount to provide crew protection, along with a switch to M2HB (.50 cal) machine-guns.
