Armed with a 20 mm Breda 35 autocannon in the same turret as the Fiat L6/40 light tank, the Autoblindo AB41 armoured car served well in North Africa and Russia. Highly prized by the Germans, after the Italian surrender they confiscated forty AB 41s and built twenty more, designated Panzerspahwagen AB41 201(i).
