As well as the Luftwaffe FlaK troops the 3.7cm FlaK 43 anti-aircraft gun also found its way into the hands of the Waffen-SS. Keeping the 'Jabo' fighter-bombers away from their artillery and heavy anti-tank weapons, the 3.7cm FlaK 43 guns were also used to break up infantry assaults. The Waffen-SS had no qualms about turning their weapons on to ground targets!
